Honestly on a human hive city they would probably be a massive threat before anyone noticed but then it’s basically fighting the tyranid but easier so other then having to stay stealthy for basically ever they would get wiped everytime a hive is discovered but other then that they would be a minor threat really

Yeah they are Tyranids that cannot create genestealers.so what would happen if your precious queen eats an exterminatis to the face or get kidnapped by dark angels or an inquisitior? queens can't do anything against a squad of space marines.losing men means nothing to the imperium because they have another one on the way.if they get involved with the eldar, the eldari are a race of psychers short term space wizards.they are so flexible that if a human tried to move like an eldar all of their bones would shatter.i can imagine the xenomorphs getting slaughtered by the eldar.orks don't care about losing or winning all they care about is fighting which if they do it more often they get very strong although a facehugger can just oneshot an ork warboss I doubt the pain Boyz will care about the warboss's life mite than that interesting alien.dark eldar use Tyranids as wild beasts in gladiatorial arenas so xenomorphs are not getting anywhere yet.necrons stomp xenomorphs because they are made of metal, acid doesn't bother them that much they just heal it off and they dissentigrate anything using a simple gauss cannon even the Tyranids get stomped, the xenomorphs are getting stomped harder.the only race they are strong against might be the humans because their hice cities are massive and they are very ignorant of everything.chaos would be like hmmm interesting.khorne gets more skulls for his throne, nurgle gets to spread more plagues, slaanesh gets nothing and tzeench can influence the queen because tzeench has manipulation.overall I think xenomorphs would be just a small threat.ohh I forgot the Tau yeah the Tau have long range weapons, they suck at melee tho.the xenomorphs would be scattered everywhere but will be just local wildlife for some people

@@Heraldofnagash There are two other stages to the queens life the empress a large queen who controlls all the queen on a planet and the queen mother a being who i think is capable of telepathy the queen mother controls all xenomorphs. And also the xenomorhps dont need genestealers they take on the traits of their hosts so if they infect a being capable of a feat that is just a natural part of their bodies and species then the xenomorph will inherit it and if the resulting xenomorph becomes a queen there face huggers will have similar traits. So if a facehugger attacked and managed to impregnate a space marine you'd have a massive xenomorhp which has the base strength of a xenomorph plus a space marines strength so they would be pretty massive

This is the key, really. Interstellar travel is the single greatest contributing factor to a faction becoming a big player in literally any scifi universe. Xenomorphs would be solely reliant on other species to do anything. Might end up occupying a few planets over the course of millennia, depending on who picks them up, but that's the extent.

Yeah i honeslty see the Xenomorph just becoming a "Pest" problem in WH40K.
Eldar would likely use them to try and farm Royal Jelly (a material if used in large amounts can potential create a royal facehugger or allow a pratorean to evolve into a Queen), thou the Jelly would likely become a drug in the Imperium aswell, at least in the blackmarket.
Tyrannids would just a tiny boost but we problaby have a similar situation like in the "Genocide" comic (2 difernet hives at war).
Beyond that, Xenomorphs are vulnerable to sonic weapons, certain diseases and spores (Wich weve seen at least 2 examples of it in the comics) and other chemical weapons.
Only side that wins from the xenomorph addition is maybe Chaos:
    - Khorne gets warriors who bleed acid and pretty fucking brutal
    - Tzeetch gets a hivemind to play covert games and fuck with people
    - Nurgle gets new plague carriers that can spread like wildfire (a single Xeno is a problem)

Say if they impregnated an ork, they might get the spore ability of the orks and have a new way of reproduction, spores infecting other living beings. Maybe they get the Waaaagh and have some other weird stuff happen. Xenomorphs are already telepathic to eachother, if they impregnate an eldar they could boost this ability ten fold.
If they just stay as they are now they would just be a minor inconvenience. However they do have something that would make the Tyranids more deadly. Since Xenomorphs can basically make biomass straight from the queen basically consuming energy, as their entire hive structure is usually made around an energy source and it begins to build its flesh from that. Tyranids consuming xenomorph essence would added to the Nyids spawn rate, they might even begin eating stars for the energy.

I’m not up on my Alien lore, but I believe they do not have a LITERAL hive mind like Tyranids. Xenomorphs are compelled to collaborate and can communicate nonverbally, but they are all individuals. Tyranids are almost all under direct mental control, and when that is severed they go feral. Point being, Xenos have much weaker minds and could not draw much power from the Warp.

Also, there have been xenomorphs with psychic powers, it's in one of the many crossovers. A bunch of super powered individuals become infected and each xeno gets, not only the power of the host, but they are very good at using it. True their limited intelligence would hinder them quite a bit, but a queen could help them focus their abilities, as the queen has been shown to be just as intelligent as a human.

      @epicwaba6424 Před rokem +3

@@amazingdoorbob5458 A single Ork has a very weak soul, but there is never just a single Ork. Their reality manipulation abilities draw from "Waaagh energy", which is the collective "pool" of all Ork souls in their warband/Waaagh/general vicinity. Even outright Ork psykers like Weirdboyz are simply drawing from that pool, not from their own souls like Aeldari or Human psykers.
I'm not sure if we should count the many crossovers as canon, but this video is referencing Colonial Marines which is movie universe canon. If we're going off crossover rules, then sure, Xenomorphs could get psychic abilities. It's just a bit of fun, but I like overthinking these things.
Whether psychic abilities are a purely genetic trait is a bit ambiguous in 40k. There are definitely genetic aptitudes toward it, which Xenomorphs could copy. They could also copy warp-related mutations like the Navigator gene. But I think even if they copied a heavily psychic race like the Aeldari, the soul of a drone would be even weaker than an Ork. Orks talk, have emotions, have culture, and have a sense of self preservation or greed. These traits give them some potency, even if they are all so simpleminded. A baseline Xenomorph would be comparable to a Genestealer in intelligence, which makes sense considering Xenomorphs were the direct inspiration for them.
But you make a good point about Queens having more intelligence. Maybe in a way similar to how Genestealers are not psychic, but Patriarchs are. If a Queen gained an understanding of how psychic abilities worked and managed to take a psyker alive, it could impregnate it with a Royal Facehugger and likely create a psychic Queen. But perhaps that would open them up to the influence of Chaos...

That's assuming that the space marine doesn't have a helmet. Second, astartes have extremely evolved immune systems, which would probably just eliminate the xeno embrio. Third, all astartes have the black carrapace, and extremely strong bones, not to mention fused ribcages, so the alien couldn't get out. Also, it's very likely even if an astartes would get, somehow impregnated by a facehugger and the alien would somehow get out, it's very possible the astartes would survive the alien birth and just kill the embrio when it hatches.

I think Xenomorphs would get folded into the Tyranid hivemind pretty quickly. Remember there are no true “natural” Tyranids. They don’t just use biomass, they take genetic information and copy traits of different species. In that way, the two are very similar to each other. Xenomorphs may even willingly join the Hive Mind, considering it’s a win-win. All they want is to reproduce, and as part of the Tyranids they would expand immensely.
But for that reason I don’t think Queen could fall to Chaos, even if we consider them to have a human-level intelligence and soul. The reason the Colonial Marine's guns worked was they fire armor penetrating explosive rounds that not only could get through the exoskeleton, but also did massive internal damage underneath the armor. As for lazguns, the crew of the Nostromo had laser weapons and were going to use them in some scenes where it did cut through the alien, but the alien not only was unaffected by the damage but healed what little damage it got. Now this was retconned in Aliens: Fireteam Elite as you can use the laser pistol, but if any energy weapon is used it needs to not only slice through the xenomorph, but also cause massive internal damage like microwaving a cockroach.

@@SarajevoKyoto Commissar Gamza did a fantastic breakdown on how terrifying a xenomorph outbreak would be in Warhammer 40K. Bolters would work better than lasguns, but the reproductive rate mixed with the weakness of the sheer size of the imperium makes xenomorph terrifying. Remember it takes a lifetime to make a genestealer, but only a day for a xenomorph to go from facehugger, through chestburster, to full grown xenomorph.

And unlike in the Alien universe, most of not all factions are ruthless enough to wipe them out and not worry about a few casualties to scorching the planet cause it’s easier that way, I wouldn’t even be surprised if say, the Necrons, hunted them for giggles
