I’ve been trying to have more fun with my art since midterms has ended for me and it’s a slow progress but if that’s what I have to take to get out of this slump then I’ll do that and I recommend anyone feeling like this as well that advice. 🫶
Breaks are good, but I agree. Sometimes its too long haha, I feel that right in my heart

@@mofubunsart don’t know about you but it doesn’t matter if I love or hate my most recent sketchbook page. But sometimes I look at my newest drawings for a few days before put pen to paper again. It is a curse.

Наступает новый год, и в нем я поставил себе целью заполнять минимум одну страницу альбома каждую неделю. Тоже хочу избавиться от длительных перерывов в рисовании. Иногда они становятся для меня настоящей проблемой. Надеюсь, у нас у всех получится достичь свои цели!

i take a lot of breaks too!! there are times when i draw everyday for a week, than i just can’t/don’t want to draw anymore and i take a break for 1 or 2 weeks😭 But i found out that two things that helps me a lot are doing a lot of different things and using a small sketchbook!
For example sometimes i do a full illustration, sometimes i do an animatic and sometimes i’ll just doodle in my sketchbook, and when i rlly don’t have any motivation i watch A LOT (😂) of art videos on youtube. I don’t know why but they just bust up my motivation a lot!!
For the smaller sketchbok, i usually use an A5, i find myself stressing a lot when i have a large blank page, so having a smaller one helps me to not get scared of not filling the page💭
Aw, THANK YOU! sometimes I get to deep in my head- I’ll try to take your advice maybe I need to experiment more or try a different sized sketchbook.

Hey I’ve been doing CZcams for almost four years it’s not easy and there will be a lot of ups and downs but I believe in you.. you don’t need nothing expensive heck I still record with my phone.
