You are very inspiring and tutorials are clear and giving me confidence. Here’s my question, I heard the scales need to be calibrated. Is this true? Yes, that's correct.
How do percentages transfer to teaspoons etc
They don’t. Your percentage would convert to oz or grams. Teaspoons are not accurate enough.
I’m finally getting to understand the concept of percentage. Example 43% Shea butter divide by 100 then multiplying by the amount of batch you want to make
43%/100=0.0043* 2=0.86oz ?
15%/100=0.0015*2=0.3oz?,
And the percentage goes on until the formula is completed.

I’m a little confused, the “amt. in batch” is that in oz? & is that how much is needed to weigh in other to get the desired batch size ?
The amount in the batch is how much of the ingredient is used to make that size. So if you are pricing for 8oz and you use 3oz of Shea butter to make 8 oz that's what you would put there.

I downloaded the product pricing spreadsheet sheet but I can’t edit it?
It's an Excel sheet so it works best on a computer or a tablet. Also sometimes you have to save Excel spreadsheets as a copy to make changes.
So how will you know whats the percentage of ingredients that doesnt have a percentage rate ?
What ingredients are you referring to that don't have a percentage rate?
