Growing up my pants were always 'cropped' because I was growing faster than the budget allowed. I will sew a pair of long pants instead of the cropped ones and follow your wonderful directions.

I just wanted to add that although Iâve been sewing for 50 years or so I always love to learn something new and today i did. It was the tip on how to ease in the extra bit of fabric on the waistline as you were pinning it to the band! Great tip which I hadnât seen before. See? You can teach an old dog new tricks!

Thanks for that tip about measuring the waistband before cutting. There have been plenty of times my waistband was way too short and I thought I did something wrong. And since I am realizing I don't actually have enough pants for work I have made 2 pair and with what you have shown the next will be even better. Cute pants.
