A quick look at the slow feeder disc on the DF64v which came installed from new. My unit is from 2024, has stock DLC burrs, has a slow feeder disc and is running off 230v.
This video was not sponsored. I purchased this grinder.

Thanks for the demonstration! - that's really interesting to see. I'm currently trying to find a solution for other DF64 grinders and unfortunately the discs were not the solution here. That's why I found it interesting to see what it looks like with the Mii Coffee version itself.

Thanks for the comment. I think all new DF64v will now ship with the slow feeder disc present. The DF64 (non v) does not have it present.

@@jackowens_ Thats cool! Yeah I have the DF64P and made a 3D printable slow feeder. At the start of my development I looked for videos with this disc - but only found that from Mii Coffee themself.
So I printed a disc for the DF64P and it worked horrible without the option of slowing down the grinder. :D

I’d love to see how the printed slow feeder does on the DF64P. How are you finding the 64P overall?

I only drink espresso, which is why the DF64P is the choice for me. But the 64P is not a buy and use product. You have to be prepared to unscrew it - to adjust the zero point and recently I also had to rework the threads. If you can do that and are prepared to do it, you won't get a better espresso grinder for the price. But I also have to say quite frankly that they should have installed higher quality or at least replaceable threads.
However, the espresso tastes great - as a "noob" I can taste fruit, chocolate and nutty notes (I use a Flair Pro 2). @@jackowens_

Of course, you can also be lucky and never have to change anything on the grinder - had no problems for 1 year.

No experience with the gen 2 unfortunately Aaron, but I hear good things. I will be putting up some stuff on the DF54 soon hopefully 👍🏻

10 sec. for 17g (?) of beans. That's not really slow feeding :)

I guess it gets named the 'slow feeder disc' -it's probably more regulating the feed of beans on to the burrs rather than turning it into a 30 second feed time. I'll remove it at some point and compare! Thanks for the comment :)
