I have the Unitron chargeable hearing aids. I forgot the charger one time when I went out of town, BIG MISTAKE! so luckily I have an extra pair of hearing aids as a spare that require batteries. It is so vital you have a spare with you or make a checklist before you travel out of town!

Good job, Dr Rachael!
Wow! You've thought of everything.
Thank you Dr. Rachael for the helpful handy tips. I have a a moisture absorber packet in my recharger. How often should the packets be changed?
Great question! If you have yellow desiccant packs, they will need replacement when they turn clear/white. If you have dark blue packs, you will need to change when they turn hot pink. Timing will depend on how much moisture is in your environment, but most of my patients can go 2-3 months between changes!
The only downside to rechargeable aids is forgetting your charger when you travel. I travel with my old set and the batteries they need.
Cool
She does a wonderful job presenting her subject..
When I look at her video it appears she is leaning into the camera
I don’t know why but this is my thought
Thanks
When fx-322 going to be in market fir treatment. Make video on this pls
Hi
Never thought about signing up for text messages at the airport.
Great tip - thanks!
I am recently returned from a 3 week trip to South America and a cruise. Several things: Converters don't seem to give as full a charge - my HA usually last 16-18 hour, but they died at 12 from converted power. Trying to use airlines' or tour operators earbuds are useless. Looking for an answer. However, many planes have a charging plug, use it for your HA as well as your phone, etc, especially on long flights. Closed caption is great, but not on everything. However, many museums have apps that actually work! Safe travels!
Cool got one in mind?
Make video on fx 322 please
I am a general aviation pilot. Can I wear hearing aides while wearing Bose over ear noise cancelling headphones?
5:22pm EST 12/26 Let me add a 6TH THING: be certain that your audiologist has TRANSITIONED THE E-MAIL ADDRESS of the app associated with your hearing aids. My wife needed to REINSTALL the app over Christmas weekend but the CONFIRMATION CODE went to her audiologist’s e-mail address (OUT on holiday), NOT HERS!! No hearing aids ALL WEEKEND!
Since when do you need an app to make a hearing aid work? Just turn it on and enjoy hearing
@@robertmooney1393actually it's more of a free optional add on plus it opens up a world of possibilities with your hearing aids also some do require it like OTC hearing aids
What I found is a cell phone charging battery works wonders for charging rechargeable hearing aids!
“Often” has a benefit for those who are hearing impaired. That would be a silent “t”. 😮
Doctor,Salut- Thanks.well done!wanna a promo?.
