That winegard component is an electric antenna rotator, you see them a lot in ham radio. It had arrows for clockwise and counter clockwise rotation and the readout was the azimuth direction. Useful for directional TV antennas like in the old days when you needed the knob or a special wrench to turn it.
Actually surprised at the bathroom, would think it would be bigger in that unit. Other than that, amazing!
Guys this is the one for me yup it’s got it all I wish it would have lighter colours for cabinets but the rest is just amazing and awesome. I would have to tell my husband this is my home and then buy the other trailer with two master bedrooms with two baths and that could be his and my sons home on the same lot lol.
We have the kssb4, 2017 model, and everything is pretty much the same. We use the center space for decor. A flower arrangement or a nice candle. We do have 3 drawers in the bathroom under and to the side of the sink instead of just two.
Older DRVs I was pretty impressed with. Newer ones, IMHO, there are some nice things/unique things they are doing, but there are just too many "misses". If I'm paying another 50% on top of the cost of a Grand Design (or similar, higher end mass market unit), everything has to be better, not just some things better, some worse. The wiring in the two we toured was atrocious; one of them had a bare romex wire running under the bed. I'm not even sure that's legal, but, regardless, it shouldn't be something you see at this price point. Going through the basement wiring and piping was just a continuation of that theme, sloppy.
At this price range, they are kind of alone; a little above this is Luxe, which has a whole lot of points over the DRV. Quite a bit below is Grand Design, with a significantly lower cost, and some things better, some things worse. Perhaps DRV has a good market for themselves in this "in between" the top of the top high end units (Luxe, New Horizons, Spacecraft; in roughly that order) and the top of the mass market units (Grand Design). But I would really expect them, with the uplift in price, to outdo a mass market unit in every respect, and, unfortunately, the new ones, that's not what I've found.
I would use that little space(around 13 minutes) between the dining table and the sofa as a coffee station!
We use the cabinet next to the Dinette as a coffee center to house our Jura Coffee maker.
For such a high dollar RV, you would think they would use power recliners. 😮. As for that side table between the dinette and recliners, I would place a coffee bar maybe. And why are we still using carpets in the slides?
You can put whatever you want in. You can customize it. Not just a choice between fabrics or options, total customization
Beautiful rig and thanks for another great video. Glad to see you and your wife working together.. best of luck to you both!
The continued use of carpet in this high end product is really disappointing.
You can completely customize this brand and for some reason drv thinks carpet is “premium”
@@Mr_PuppyYT Right! Complete customization! I choose marine grade vinyl! 🤞
@@joanmcerlean7158 lol I would too
You are right about the carpet only my dog likes to lay on it lol.. I spoke to them at DRV and because of the way their slides are made they tried the marine grade carpet but it didnt hold up and it would rip so they went back to carpet..
Nice but i would like to see a half bath as well it will come in handy. 👍👍🇦🇺
Mobile Suites has many different floor plans. The one next to us shown at the end is a bath and a half model.
That extra counter area would make a nice coffee bar.
Cabinet between living room and dining table would make a good bar
Bro, you know your stuff man love how you break these units . you and your wife are killing man, hopefully i'll be getting one in the future lol ..keep winning!!
Thanks! Appreciate you watching
This thing still sits on a lippert frame as do most rigs . Lots of DRV frames with cracked welds . They make him pretty but they aren't any better. On a positive note you do great walk throughs
I also here comments from folks saying lots of DRV frames have cracked welds, yet I've only found a couple examples that were 5-plus years old. Out of the hundreds on the road, I don't think the failures were higher than just a few
@@BigTruckBigRVJD not all problems come out on CZcams. Hey enjoyed your vid with your dad talking trucks !
I would use that little cabinet for a coffee bar, especially since there is a cabinet above and drawers below. This is also one of the few units where the dishwasher is in a logical space. I like that the island is all workspace and has no sink. The bathroom is workable but a bit small. The bedroom is really nice and more spacious than most. I like the 2022 colors but not the 2023.
I would use that little cubby by the table for a smoothie bar. I would have all my dehydrated strawberries and fruits, nuts, chocolate chips ect in the cupboard above and my blender out. OR a coffee bar sorta deal there.
LR counter by dinette I’d use it for a whiskey 🥃 decanter and some glasses. 👍🏻
This is one brand I wish had been at the RV show here in Salt Lake. I m hoping to find one someday to go on a walkthrough. I've heard a lot of good things on these. I know there's a few places that sell them, but they're very rare.
My hubby and me are going to see these DRV this weekend. So far we like the Grand designs, and the Alliance Paradigm.
Rush grand design &alliance are not even comparable to this and I don’t say that in a negative way because I own a grand design solitude that I love.
Would you happen to know where the next RV Show will be so that I may view some of these models.
The little desk area would be perfect for cat food spot!
Little desk could be used for printer, sewing machine, crafting, etc. The material on the step looks like the flooring you use on a pontoon boat.
Appreciate this vid: many features that give it an high-end appeal! Sadly the two big flaws that are main esthetic features the floor vents and kitchen backsplash with lines look awful! Kills the deal!
Just a really random idea, the underside spaces, if one of two of them were accessed through hidden floor panels, you could have a safe room/hiding space/escape hatch for extra "security" features.
The only bit about the stove where it is is that i would prefer it on the right if it had to be by the wall cause im left handed.
That random nook is probably a coffee bar.
That would be our coffee area!
Love you guys ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That space between table and the recliners i would say is a coffee station
Looks like an electric flush toilet which is very cool. The dish washer is also a very nice touch. But it appears that the control panel is stuck with pre-Columbian push buttons. I wonder what DRV's excuse for this contradiction might be? Cedar Creek and couple of other manufacturers offer both old style analog buttons and solid state digital tablet-style controls. Please don't feed me that there's no room in a $150K purchase price for both. The cruelest cut of all is the failure to offer night stands on both sides of the bed. One occupant is forced to give up their water glass, as well as a handy place to charge their phone and cpap machine. The rig is very nice, but it's so expensive and heavy that when combined with a $100K+ big diesel Super Duty or similar truck, it can't compete with a big Super C or bigger Class A on price or weight.
Store stuff like batteries, tapes, matches, stuff like that
Your Keurig on the small next to the dinette
The little space is where the coffee maker goes. Duh. :)
Riverstone uses a hung wall as well that is screwed and glued
Good to know!
I’d use that space by the dining table for my electric tea pot, ninja blender and toaster!! 😂
Nice!
That front compartment was not set up for a generator
Put a coffee maker in that small center open cabinet
$150k and no generator??😯😯
Right! All the value is in the build quality.
I am sure it has been said but that island would be coffee bar for me
That little cabinet area could be a bar area, or a key/phone charge area..
I would use that space for a printer.
I would use the little table for a coffee bar
Good idea
Love this Would love if they made a 2 bedroom model
They do.
@DressageHub I'll have to look for it would like to do a walk through
I'm more of a function over appearances kind of guy. The Cedar Creek 377BH even has an office.
First comment (besides Myles). You shall all kneel before Zod!
The quality of their fiberglass is much better than the competitors
Is use that space for my bar
A place to put my coffee maker, cups
OK how about some smaller units for us a regular folk that don’t have an $80,000 dually ?
I have hundreds of videos of RVs of all sizes and prices on my page 👍 hope you subscribe!
Slim fry is just another term for air fry.
Thea 4-Burners stove
Feels like that little cabinet and wasted space next to the theater seats ends up making the seating around the table too tight. 😕
Love the kitchen! But, floor registers at this price?
It’s the most efficient heating system available.
Yes, I don't mind floor vents, but I don't like if they aren't painted to blend in. That is, I don't like a light coloured floor with dark vents.
The lining of the shower looks like zinc to me.
That little cabinet next to the recliners would be good for a small aquarium. Though you'd want to take special precautions for travel, of course.
It’s wasted space.
It seems like you get more for your money in a Montana or Jayco pinnacle. No soft close cupboards and …carpet in an RV that costs much more.
Yeah, I hear you. It just depends on what you prefer. I would be perfectly happy in a Montana, but this has a lot of construction and equipment options that are in a class above this brands.
That dinette area is tight.
Nice but I love my Beacon more
Antenna is still made by winegard
Correct
Small space for Martini Bar
There ya go! Good idea

Dommage une seule chambre
Instead of buying a house I should just buy this
Bar space
That is super heavy! Minimum of a 550 or 650 commercial truck.
Actually u need a rv customized semi
My mothers friend ownes an older DRV
We have a 2018 40KSSB that we pull with a F450 with zero issues
@@mgtf15001most likely in danger. Go to the CAT scale.

The gold hardware caters to boomers lol
Exterior finishes are sloppy, spray foam around the jacks and hydraulic lines rubbing the frame above the front axel. Screws exposed. Not what you want to see on $150,000.00 rv. The interior looks great. Get rid of the floor vents.
Nice but white furniture and dark wood? I wouldn't spend my hard earned on it. For that money you can get a Luxe.
I'm not fond of the decor, either. I don't like high contrast in such a small area, looks too busy for my eyes. And white upholstery is not practical, I'd be disappointed when it starts to show its age.
Just wait 4 years and it's yours for$30,000
I would rather spend my money on the new Brinkley or a river stone. I have a Durango gold much cheaper than this and it has features this doesn’t have. Soft close toilet but not on cabinets and drawers and did I see carpet? It does have some unique features but overall I wouldn’t buy this.
Ask what the price is one year from now - even brand new
It will be shockingly lower
No value in these super high priced 5th wheels. I do own s 5th wheel
I just unsubscribed from your channel. Reasons, you left your job, move on. Put it in the comments/description. Same for the book. Before you do a video of a RV unit, know the model. People want a informed person for the review. If you do not know something, leave it out. Maybe include what financing would be, not just the price. I know this is new to you being on your own. Breathe, don't be nervous, be knowledgeable and you will continue to grow. So far you have a very good following. Just not me. I would not buy an RV based on the lack of your knowledge. I wish you luck and good health.
Your comment doesn’t concern me one bit. 1. I put a lot on the line to pursue starting our own business and I will talk about it in every video going forward because I believe in what I am doing.
2. I have said in dozens of videos before and should continue to say “I am no certified RV expert.” If you’re looking for an expert on every RV in existence, you’re right, I’m not your guy. I’ve been around RVs every single day of my life for over the last 1,000+ days of my life so I know more than most, but I never claimed to know all there is to know. And when I get an opportunity to film an RV I may not have done extensive research on, I am still going to film it. I’m at an RV show… I’m not going to pass up filming a $150,000+ RV simply because I don’t know absolutely everything under the sun there is to know about it or have time to learn it all right then and there. However, I did watch various other Mobile Suites videos on CZcams the morning prior to filming this RV and I went into significantly more detail than the 2-3 other videos I watched. All the detailed information in this video was directly from Mobile Suites product reps so I’m not sure what knowledge you felt was missing? And I certainly was not nervous. I’m never nervous to film an RV cause I’m never scared to admit I don’t know something or even to be wrong occasionally.

I'll NEVER understand why yachts and RVs ALWAYS use light colors???
