Nice video... Man, my dumbass stared at these on Black Friday when they were $49. I don't know why I didn't buy 2, it was new to me and I'm trying to figure out what is good for my build, I did some research and thought this motor ecs combo. Was smooth, I went back to the website and now it's Thursday and $69 ... Homer Simpson dope....
The fusion 1800kv se is a good motor put not as strong as you might think ! , I didn't get a program card, so I didn't really run it at all ! One day I tried it on my kitchen floor, At a slow crawl, Iv throttled it a bit in forward, slow speed, then back , Went too pull the throttle in forward, slowly But it just made a whining noise! And I thought did my tranny stripped, took it apart pulled motor! And seen my shaft sheared right off at the motor, and the other half and gear were just lying there ! Broke right off ! I should of just left my titan on My Traxxas truck ! I would still be enjoying my truck!! But I thought maybe the shaft was just defective!! Called hobbywing, And they want too see picture of shaft and motor. And i bought mine at cosmic and hobbies in lethbridge Alberta Canada. And they won't replace it, so now I'm going too have too go thru a lot of red tape just too get my money back or hope too get an exchange! The moral of this story is don't buy a motor or anything else from a shop that doesn't know about RCs or what they don't know about anything of what they'll sell !
That is a bummer. I've heard of shafts breaking, but i've never seen one do it. I just had to send my Hobbywing fusion pro back after 2 days. The button power button burned out they actually replaced it. But they didn't want to. They kind of gave me a hard time at first. And again it was only two days old. But if I told you to send pictures. What I would do probably is go by another one. So I have a warranty & Receipt. and then return the broken one in the box.
great upgrade, i have some stuff i made for you on my printer, and hope to see you at johns next weekend,,if i cant i will send it to you!!,the se and pro are great motors, i do have the pro in 2 trucks and love them, but the se can putout all you need, thanks bro ttyl

I just put one in my daughter's Redcat Gen8 and a 45kg Amazon servo. Huge difference from stock! I'll be sure to give Roy a like and subscribe! I've tried to email you a few times to get something sent to you still.
Actually sport has less gear smaller spur gear I believe. It’s the two speed with lockers you get the larger spure. But yeah I’m first maybe fine bet it’s fast.
Did you use the stock pinion gear that came on the Element Ecto ( mine is a 18 tooth)? I'm getting ready to do the exact same motor swap today,but I don't see many videos talking about what pinion to use with the Fusion SE 1800KV?

I stuck with the stock opinion I believe. And it is still extremely slow.
With all the hauling you do with these trucks you need to put a small block chevy in them

Yeah it's loud. And annoying. but it sure works good.lol
You need to set the left and right steering end points on the transmitter. That’ll stop your chatter.
In points are set. It makes that noise even if you're not turning.
