    I wanted one of these back when I was 16 in 2002. My dad wouldn't let me buy one cause of insurance cost. This was easily my #1 car back in the day & still looks great today in 2023.

      I got me a 97 now. That was my car I wanted when I was 17 when it came out. Couldn't be happier with it.

    I had on around 2007-2015, what a gas guzzler that was 15-16 mpg city and 24 mpg highway. 160hp was not enough out of the 3.4L

    The black mirrors make the entire car look a little un-finished. Good looking and these were everywhere back in the day.

      Them on their own yes. you had to have the mirrors, roof, headlight buckets and basket handle black for it to look good

    It would have been great for the time if the rpo code "L99" 265/4.3L small V8 (base engine for the Caprice) would have been offered as V8 option on the base Camaro. Maybe 215-220hp and 255-260 lbs-ft of torque with the dual exhaust. Kind of an intermediate range performer and a less pricey V8 Camaro than the full on Z28.

    • @christopherhouck3846
      @christopherhouck3846 Před 2 měsíci +1

      I could get down with that. It would've made for a cool Rally Sport package option. Or a Berlinetta where you get all the nice interior options, standard trim and the entry level V8.

      @dougsmith9571 I traded my 93 3.4, 4 speed auto for a 2002 3.8, 5 speed. I would keep up or beat the old 4.6 liter mustangs in the 2002.
