Quit with the word games. We call them provinces which isn't much different than a state. As an example, it was the Federal government that abolished the death penalty in Canada, NOT the provinces. In the United States, it's up to the individual states. In fact, there are 10 states who still have the death penalty. It would seem that the states, in the US, have more autonomy than our provinces have.
Also, when people talk about the state, in general political terms, they're talking about Federal governments. Don't confuse the American concept of statehood to the way we use the word when we're talking in a more generalised manner, which is a more international term.

At this point, I doubt it'll ever change. A lot of men feel the same, and it's even causing some men to just say "fuck it, maybe Islam does have it right. I don't believe that there is a lot of hate against women online. Or should I say, I don't think it's a remarkable amount, compared to hate for other people. I think women feel less safe on the street even when they are more safe. And they also feel more hated when they're not more hated. Just look at how men are supposed to be thankful that women don't want vengeance, that kind of nonsense. Trans issues are blamed on men, crime is blamed on men.
I also don't think women are voting against themselves. What they're voting for, is to maximize the social game. Women tend to be better at the social game, and woke extremism creates a whole minefield of what you can say and what you cannot. What you can do and what you cannot. And for a woman that is easier to navigate and thus to use this to exert power over others. So I think women are voting for a structure that is easier for them to navigate than for men. Im Canadian and my wifes family are american citizens. It doesnt even matter. The only difference is we can get in in about 15 years wheras most regular people litearlly have zero way in (unless they spend about a million dollars on a business). We have about 12 years left to wait on our papers. Every single person that asks has made the same joke about going to the southern border. Not just some of them, literally every one. The silly thing is that I do run a business but because its mostly using computers they dont have a way to move businesses like that. I have an income for my wife and I and we have enough savings to require zero mortgage or any assistance yet it still takes this long. There are plenty of people in my position who want to come over but the US is prioritizing illegals with no job, skills, or ability to bring anything but cheap unskilled labor to your country to lower your wages. My business wouldnt take jobs, it would only likely add more work to the economy. The other stupid thing about Tims joke about going over the mexican border is that we are Canadian.... if we were going to stay illegally why wouldnt we just travel there normally? Its not like we cant go in and out of the country as we please already. It makes zero sense. Ive had many say that joke to me while I was inside of the US. Im like so if I were to stay illegally you recommend that I leave the country to walk back in? huh? There is also no cognitive dissonance in the way she describes. The people who want to leave want to do so because we recognize that Canada is crumbling. Most of my friends would vote for a political party who would forcably remove any new immigrants. There are plenty of Canadians (mostly males) who would take extreme measures to get these people out of office. Unfortunately, we also recognize that the Conservative party is just another side of the same coin. It appears that the people selecting candidates for the liberals are the same as those who pick conservative. They have one party come it and establish a set of policies that are unpopular that create problems then they have the other side take control and establish policies that pretend to address those issues while only making themseleves more money. The conservatives are not even addressing the problem of the immigrants we have, their main push is to build more homes and slow immigration. We are alreardy completely screwed even if we stopped immigration since most of our major cities are majority immigrants from third world countries. The only hope we have is if we were to remove these people (even those with Canadian citizenships) and there is almost no shot of that occuring. The ones with the cognitive dissonance are those who complain about these issues but continue to vote liberal and have no kids. They exist as well. Remember this, the vast majority of Canadians do not support Trudeau but it doesnt even appear to matter any longer. They just increased capital gains on investments to 66%, our food, utilities, gas etc have more than doubled since covid without incomes raising at all. Our job postings literally have racial requirments in them openly and proudly. One major issue is that our high schools and universities do not fail anyone anymore and we have massive affirmative action policies. My wife had an 85% average in psychology in university when she graduated a few years ago. She didnt get into a single masters program for the career she set out to have. She had 3 indian friends who had low 60s and they all received scholarships to multiple (the same) programs. The same is true with many other white students that we personally know. Even if you have more work experience, volunteer hours, a more than 20% higher average, and multiple extra curricular activities relevant to the program, they are now choosing based on race. The thing that people should not look over is that these same minority students would have been failing high school under a decade ago but now they have an easy ride to get a masters degree that is subsidized with our taxes. Within a few years many of our major industries are going to be filled with incompetend minorities who can barely read while actual Canadians are being paid far less. The job descriptions I have seen recently (as my wife is searching for work) often have descrptions like: masters required, 4+ years relevant experience, etc etc salary - 50k. Vs. no experience necessary, any university degree, and minority racial identity - 90k starting salary. I am not even remotely exaggerating. Not only is this directly hurting Canadians, it is also going to guarantee that our economy takes even more of a nose dive as these DEI policies play out. As we looked at universities in the areas we intended to move to in the US (in case we did get in sooner), a few informed my wife that she would likely qualify for a schaloarship to most of the programs she could apply for. As bad as the US has become with these matters, Canada is on a compeltely different level of hell. We were lucky to have saved enough money to get a home at age 30 (5 years ago). WIth our current savings and assets we would be able to almost retire with a similar lifestyle if we moved to a state like Ohio wheras we are just getting by in Canada. We became millionaires soon after buying our home but this is completely meaningless. I had a higher quality of life when I was only making 800 bucks a week than I do now because even though Ive more than doubled my income, the prices of everything have gone up even more than that. Even my other successful friends who are lawyers and doctors are barely able to afford their homes since an avergae home in toronto with a 10% downpayment now means about 60k a year in mortgage because of the rate shift. Its absolutely insane. The only reason this persists is because of the massive minority population as well as the female vote. Most of us are not even certain our elections are fair and free any longer. Even if they are, the coservatives have become more left wing than our liberals were just a few years ago. DOnt beleive me? go look up what Doug ford has done to Ontario. They are purposefully closing 3 fully functioning nuclear plants with zero way to replace the energy and they have yet to provide any explanation about why they are doing this.

Canadian prime ministers have a chitload of power, basically unheard of in the West. There is no real oversight or checks and balances which are written down and codified into law. Such oversight must be built in to the compilation of the laws and also must be made basically untouchable. It's
very important that laws should be near impossible to quickly change and fiddle around with. A prime minister gets to actually appoint judges - all by himself. These same judges often are used to 'rubber stamp' whatever draconian measure a prime minister might want to put in place.... even one put in place on a simple whim. Due to this, such incredibly massive, and quick, changes can be brought about, and all by this one single man. Trudeau is a prime example of how this current system has played out. That is also why, if Poilievre gets in, he can totally reverse EVERYTHING that Trudeau has put in place. That is, of course, if he wants to do so!

LOL so like 8 years ago i worked at a Firefighting Base in northern Ontario. Trudeau's Jet landed at our base and all the staff shook his hand and got a photo before he spoke at some treaty 3 deal. I Had an 8 inch knife on my belt, i should have taken one for the team back then. Id probably be out of jail by now anyways.

Pre-Justin Trudeau, the differences between Liberals and Conservatives were much smaller. Liberals were maybe a bit more progressive and Conservatives were maybe a bit better fiscally. Canada historically is a liberal country.
But like the USA, in the 2010's social media and news media radicalized left and right and pushed the Liberals straight into kookoo-land, and for a while the Conservatives were chasing them thinking progressivism is the future. A lot of older people/boomers are completely clued out of what's happening so they just keep voting Liberal.

If Justin Trudeau's father were around to see Canada as it currently is, he'd be stunned and speechless.
Seeing how his own son is abusing authority, stomping out dissent, and now *_culling the undesirables_* would have put a tear in old Fidel's eye.

This is absolutely a perfect depiction of Canadian feminist conservatism "it hurt my feelings you tweeting that; well I was pointing out the consequences of voting patterns; but you used your platform to spread a message I don't like; but it's the consequences of policy; well women vote emotionally, so if women aren't voting conservative it's men's fault for not doing a better job appealing to our emotions; why don't you think women vote conservative; it's a boys club and women don't feel welcome, all my female friends are liberal but I'm conservative; then why aren't you convincing them; that's the job of conservatives, who are men, I mean male conservatives, that aren't me"

from what I've seen, areas like nova scotia have a much stronger family presence. Part of this has to do with a lot of the older families in the area having connections to the early scotish immigrations that were used to provide workers for the old coal mines that a large portion of the area used to depend on. Because a lot of those families were originally treated like slaves in the sense of how the chinese were used in san fransisco when the early train tracks were being built in the area for trade and transportation. The families had nothing to bargain with when they got here, and as soon as their families had arrived, they had the option of working for the wealthy owners of the companies, or they and their families, would have no access to requried necessesities. I happen to have alot of family in this part of canada both towards sydney and halifax. The area is absolutely gorgeous and they have some of the most beautiful skies in the world (unlike the US, at night time, you don't experience anywhere near as much "light polution" and you can see the stars like they are right in front of you) The average behavior of people in these areas is a lot more friendly and the average person is not quite as agressive or confrontational as the average american. As for the support of treudou I have not found a lot of people in this part of canada that are all that happy with him. Most of them seem to think the guy is a useless peice of crap.

The Canadian healthcare system is fine if you are stubborn and not passive. Ive gone through it many times for different illnesses. I waited a week for an MRI because I went private. It cost me 150$ because my insurance covered the rest. Most people with a job in Canada have to get medical insurance provided to them by their employer. and most plans cover the basics. Is the system perfect? No. It has a massive shortage of doctors. That is a problem.
The main issue with the healthcare system is there isnt enough education on how to use it, or navigate it. Too many people expect to be taken care of 100% without question once they see a doctor. And too many people think its a good idea to go to the emergency room when you have something as basic as the sniffles.

I've always found the conversation of redpill a bit off. Redpill didn't get us to the current state we find ourselves in. That was feminism. And I find that a lot of people picking up the whole redpill thing. Is a direct response to feminism.
Also it's profitable to hate on women? I can't imagine why things turned out that way. It's weird how people have seemed to completely memory hole the past few years. Where it was a state, government, societal, and corporate sanctioned war on men. Toxic masculinity, mansplaining, manspreading, kill all men, sexism and misogyny for everything, metoo that went off the rails, etc. And god help you if you were a white dude. That was literally everything for how many years? Imagine the shock of what that type of hate would lead to.

Redpill is the male version of feminism. It turns the sexes into social classes and pits them against each other in some sort of struggle for resources. Marx would approve.

People from Toronto do not represent the views of the ordinary Canadian. Even if they claim to be Conservative. Their equivalent in the USA are New Yorkers.
Toronto is the place where people sip Starbucks while typing in a blog on their Macbooks. Authentic Canada is rural Canada and we know what the War of 1812 is. We also know of Tecumseh and how Canada's First Nations banded together to make the difference in that war. How Tecumseh died, just as General Brock did. How revered Tecumseh is even in the USA. We're the Civic Nationalist Canucks, you were speaking to the Mitt Romney Canucks.
