Tony and Crystal go back to the past to talk about the Alfred Hitchcock classic, Psycho! In this movie review/podcast they talk about all the iconic things in the film. Everything from the music, the Anthony Perkins performance, and the famous shower scene with be broken down and discussed!
Phoenix secretary Marion Crane (Janet Leigh), on the lam after stealing $40,000 from her employer in order to run away with her boyfriend, Sam Loomis (John Gavin), is overcome by exhaustion during a heavy rainstorm. Traveling on the back roads to avoid the police, she stops for the night at the ramshackle Bates Motel and meets the polite but highly strung proprietor Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins), a young man with an interest in taxidermy and a difficult relationship with his mother.

Tony and Crystal reviewed the original Psycho and felt like recording a commentary track for the 1998 remake right after. Crystal never watched it all the way through before so this was really fun!

Hitchcock films are great and innovative for it's time. I recently watched House of Gucci and wow what a fantastic cast and film, one of the best films to watch in 2022 and definitely someone has to win an Oscar in it. Lady Gaga was great as the gold digger even though I do not like her music, her acting was great and facial expressions that hit the right moods in the scenes, not to mention Adam Driver, Al Pacino, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons and Salma Hayek, won't give any spoilers, but it is really worth seeing. Ridley Scott directed it and he has done an amazing job, for both this film and also the recently released The Last Duel film, both are a home run. His IMDB page also states he will be directing another Alien Prequel, Gladiator 2 and a Napoleon film.
Suggestion for Crystal and Tony, can you both review House of Gucci within a drive in cinema and have just gopro cameras or proper cameras inside the car and also to both dress up in formal gowns like they do in the film! please guys! no one ever does movie reviews inside a car cinema.. thought you guys at Hack The Movies, can be the first?
