- We're back with ANOTHER Ghostbuster movie. Crystal wasn't too impressed with Afterlife and I outright hated it. Most fans thought it was good though. This new one seems to be more divisive. Did we hate it? Is it okay? Watch and find out!

I loved Frozen Empire ten times more than Afterlife!! Hands down!!!! I laughed, I enjoyed the action, and I was drinking my Ghostbusters slushies
I enjoyed it too! I laughed often, the special effects were great and it was a simple comedy adventure that knows what it is and was escapism for me.
It was entertaining.
But it had too many characters.
I agree with the idea that they could've done without the Patton Oswalt character, for instance.
Ray Stanz is already an expert in the paranormal field and owns an Occult bookstore.
They didn't need to consult someone else about Garraka.
True it was ok the second watch was better but there’s still too many characters

I already know Tony hated it. He's said in previous videos how much he doesn't like any of the Ghostbusters sequels. 😂😂😂

There IS Dickless reference at the very end! When they’re in the crowd outside the Firehouse and Mayor Peck is struggling to be nice to the Ghostbusters, someone in the crowd yells “Maybe you should thank them, Dickless!” 😂😂😂😂😂. And that made me laugh out loud in the theater.

I thought it was a pitiful post production throw in. Although it felt weird going the entire movie without hearing dickkess said by anyone, I feel like they forgot to legitimately work it into a scene.. that being said I actually like GBFE and saw it twice because although it’s not great, it is legit fun to watch
The person that says that is Bill Murray, he says it off to the side weirdly though, I would've focused on it

I don't understand that one scene with Patton Oswalt and the Possessor demon where it possessed him and forced him to Minecraft his wife and make it look like an accidental overdose.
It seemed really out of place, I didn't even realise the character he was playing was married.
30:35 THANK YOU! I tried to tell a Ghostbusters fan group on Facebook this and some of the fans tore me apart and said I was wrong. They ABSOLUTELY were trying to ship Phoebe and Melody, but they must tested it with a audience beforehand and they hated to so they cut it out. But it's STILL there!
Oh yeah, the soundtrack isn’t helping either, listen to “A Tour of the Firehouse.” It sounds romantic.
Age is the only reason why they didn't cause Grace to go in that direction...if she was acutally 18 oh yea they would!
@jesseslack2089 I think they were possibly hinting Phoebe might be gay in the future. Which if she is is no problem. How they possibly introduced it in this movie was jarring and weird.

"Well..better late than never" after seeing the Titantic dock is what Cheech said...havn't seen the movie in a long time but easy quote to remember.
The last 25 minutes of this movie was a good Episode of The Real Ghostbusters and Extreme Ghostbusters. Too bad that it takes 1 hour 25 minutes of boring, stuffed with memberberries filler to get to those 25 minutes.
If Sony wants a Ghostbusters shared universe then a crossover with Men In Black would be perfect.
After watching this review, I thought Tony's destiny was going to be getting German suplexed over 5 rows of seats at WrestleMania by a drunk fan and becoming a ghost.
Before listening, I have to say it's a really good movie. Entertainment and replay value is much better than the original sequel. The villain is freakin awesome!! And I love how the additions to the Ghostbuster family aren't limited to just four. Anyways I give Frozen Empire a light 7 out of 10.

I appreciate the brutally honest reviews. These new movies didn’t do it for me. Good for kids but not even close to the original feel of the old movies.

I like to think Afterlife and Frozen Empire fixed the Casper plothole of that cameo being so stupid. Ray’s thrower is broken in Casper and Ray is alone. So you assume Egon took off, they went out of business mostly, but Ray tried to keep it going with some busted equipment, and couldn’t manage to keep up. I shouldn’t have to fix, but it makes the cameo in Casper less stupid.
Afterlife was fantastic, Ghostbusters 2 is decent, and i loved Frozen Empires

"Cyrus Hill", she says. She actually misspelled a word she said, as if she speaks one letter at a time. Who else is performing at the 420 concert? Green Daze? The Rolling Stoners? The Grateful Death? Puh-fish? Maybe we can go to Reckvick Iceland and see Bork. Go to a rave and listen to some Fatboy Slime, or Skillrex, or some Cystal Method?
I say 2016 was the lowest bar so I think anything better than that is an absolute win for us 🤷

Some of the promo and merch for this movie is directly from the cartoon. I don't think they're really trying to please people who want more of the first movie so much

The first Ghostbusters was the best and I genuinely enjoyed the second. 2016 "Ghostbusters" is something I will never watch again and Afterlife was adequate. Haven't seen Frozen Empire yet, hope it's good.
Don’t agree with Tony on Afterlife at all. I found parts quite funny and I think it matched the tone of the first movie a fair bit. Obvious differences but a great mix of funny, heart, sci-fi. Loved Frozen Empire too 👍

Afterlife wasn't supposed to be a comedy tho.. it was never pitched as one.. and that's what the "Murray" GB fans don't get, the comedy should come second to and when used enhance the supernatural
comedy does not come second in a series that built itself as a comedic series. The ghosts are second to the jokes. You can not refute this

It’s getting really hard to decide which Ghostbusters movie is the worst.

I enjoyed Frozen empire, the pacing was the issue too slow at times, and needed to speed things up. The time the villain came around, the movie was over.

For the Casper direct-to-video ones, I saw both A Spirited Beginning and Casper Meets Wendy as a kid so while they've not aged great, I have the nostalgia for them-and the first Casper I still think holds up fine today. Never saw Casper's Scare School and Casper's Haunted Christmas-which I first saw at 29-was lame.
You can say that about Lucky, but definitely not Podcast.

She is by far my favourite person on the show. Tony is second best. I very much despise one guest hosts and refuse to watch any video they are in, simply because I don't want to spew hate filled comments about them every time. I don't want to name a name, because I'm actively trying to top my negativity from affecting people needlessly. But I've needed to vent about that for a while. sorry it was to you, this was jut the most vaguely applicable comment I've found.

@@mrfixitishere Fair. But because of how bad crystal feels about being disliked, I don't ever want to reveal the person I do dislike. Because if they ever saw the comment, it might make them feel a similar way. My dislike doesn't add anything useful to the conversation, so I try to contain it.

So your telling me its not that bad. Might need to check it out on streaming or something... Oh, I don't want to be that guy. But, there are saws for soft metals like copper and brass, etc. You might need to use it for plumbing if you can't get the usual clamp tool around the pipe.
I like the Movie Dumpster guys, Joey C, Kieran, Kevin the Pegwarmer, Casey, Kira and Mint. Riley is good too, as well as the guys from the Blade videos. Frank and his sister are nice. The sea captain lady and the deep-voiced blonde woman from the Freddy remake review are so dry it seems like they're aliens disguised as humans and trying not to get caught, like Ben Stein is more animated than they are, but I guess they're okay. The Rotten Tomatoes guy is great, I really enjoy his appearances. The guy who married the "gay" woman is fine, but he's married to the "gay" woman which all but kills his credibility as an honest commentator. But most of all I like Tony, because he likes to party. Oh and Tom and Mike Matei, those guys are great! And Clayton!

Firehouse was the fake production title. Similar to Afterlife which used the title Rust City

Honestly, I thought this movie was fine. Parts of it I actually liked better than Afterlife (mostly the not wasting 45+ minutes explaining to Gen Z what ghostbusters is as an IP).
Overall these newer films are not what I'd ever have imagined for Ghostbuster sequels. But I don't hate them. To me it just means things went really REALLY badly for the gang following the events of the video game (like the new guy died horribly or messed up on a major scale and killed their hopes of francising to other cities) and then we lead into Afterlife. A little depressing, but the timeline still works out fine. Lol
Also, 100% agree with Manny’s take. The world has just never understood, Dan Aykroyd. Lol
Crystal shouting Garraka was great. It is interesting that it was going to be called Firehouse cause it feels a bit too much that they kind of built the story around the firehouse and that felt a litlle sitcommy at times. If all the movie had been devoted to the frozen empire thing it could hace been almost great but instead they talked a lot about the big baddie but it felt like they were losing time with other things until he appeared. They didnt even cross the street to fight the guy. They waited for him in the firehouse. There were elements to make a pretty good movie here but I dont know if hey were saving money, it was obligatory to include all the actors or the age or eccentrity of some of the guys like Bill Murray made them to write the story in this way. It just doesnt look like the proper structure for the story at hand. It doesnt seem like it was lack of ideas necessarily, more like putting together things in a contrived way.

Ghostbusters 2 had slime and statue of Liberty
Afterlife brought back original cast and mini State puffs
Frozen empire didn't have any real memorable moments
Worst line ever “I have a Ghost to bust!” Hahaha i still loved the film though.
