Carpetbagger is a legend. Delivering us great content come rain, come shine. Even on holidays. Jacob, your videos are a joy and something I look forward to watching every day.
“Actually…it feels like my bowels …are loosening…”
🤣
😊 we all get a little bit quacky
Hi Jacob
Enjoy your time with family.
You never disappoint. 😊
Hi, Jacob! Glad you got to spend some time with your family!! 😊
Your videos like this remind me I need to spend more time supporting some of the local science museums in Tampa.
Go to Emmi’s super station
This was awsome! Love the science ones. Been watching for 2 years everyday, just keeps getting better! Jen is an added bonus ❤
You never fail to entertain and educate me. Your visit to the museum of quackery reminded me of your early vlog about the "doctor" who implanted goat glands in his patients.
I wasn't sure if you were going to post today, but I'm certainly not going to complain. I'm glad I'm not the only one having flashbacks to the Great River Road trip, albeit pleasant ones. Also, whenever I get stuck in the rain, I say to myself "as sweet as I am, I'm not made of sugar, I won't melt.
I say, "I'm not the Wicked Witch of the West or sugar, so I'm fine" 😂
In the sixties and seventies, those shaking rear-end machines were the rage. They were a scam, of course. Thanks, for taking us along.
My old stomping grounds! I got so excited as soon as I saw your thumbnail.
It’s crazy how something random can make your whole day, isn’t it?
I really thought I wouldn't enjoy this episode but yet again you made it enjoyable! Thank you.❤
Jacob the dalek ❤ in the vibrating chair 😂
Great video jacob
I'm glad to hear that you're coming to California. I hope your time in the West goes well. Your travels are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Good morning Jacob, hope you had a great 4th of July & reunion. Ty for all the content. Really helps in planning a vacation since you go everywhere. Much love from OK ❤
Good Evening Jacob 🙋🏽. I hope you and Jennifer had a wonderful 4th of July ‼️
I’m glad that you got to see the statue of Herb Brooks. He was a legend during the 1980 Winter Olympics when Team USA won gold. I would LOVE for you to go back to the daily videos. I know a lot of people don’t like the daily every day videos, but it can have its pros and cons. Anyway, hope you have a great day Jacob!
I am so glad you visited the statue of Herb Brooks. The 1972 Summit series and the Miracle game were classics that will be forever etched in history.
10:05 When you said, "I love that river" I got Hank Hill's love for propane vibes 😂✌️😁
Great video, Jacob. Hope you had a great 4th of July, and hopefully, the rain stopped for the fireworks. Till the next one, take care my friend and as always safe travels.
I absolutely want to go here one day. It has so many different little exhibits to learn from. I think it's great you feel an emotional attachment to the Mississippi River. : ) I'm also glad hospitals have upped their tech and knowledge game so we don't have to deal with some of those crazy inventions anymore. Lol Super cool to look at. Thanks for the adventure!
Champsosaurus wasn't quite a crocodile, but a related kind of Archosauromorph called a Choristodere. They did look and act very similarly, a crocodile-like body plan has evolved multiple times in animals, which is just a testament to how well it works. Champsosaurus is a particularly cool animal, because not only did it coexist with T. rex, but it also was one of the species that managed to survive the K-PG impactor event 66 million years ago, and live on for millions of years afterwards.
I really liked your comment, " I really love that river." my favorite book is Tom Sawyer, this river was Samuel Clemens favorite too.
Good morning Jacob
What a great museum ❤ full of artefacts and specimens 🎉
Yes! I wish I had known you were coming here! I was just there!
Good Morbug " YA ALL " Jacob the Carpetbagger
used to love going to the Museum field trips for school.. havent been back since, im 38 now...
Might I suggest?: Raincoat and umbrella, maybe some galoshes
Happy 4th sorry it is raining it’s 106 here in so. Ca.
I love science museums.
Unfortunately humans are very gullible
Branded Carpetbagger umbrellas would probably sell. ☂️
14:07 Like how the Minnesota Science Center has an exhibit on objects flushed down the toilet. When I was in elementary school 20 years ago, I had a friend who wanted to flush Barbie dolls down the toilet.
You seem to bring the rain with you... next time you're in Southern California, could you bring us some? (it hasn't rained here for 10 months). 🙂
You should thank God that you able to visit the Minnesota Science Center
About the Yellow Barn, Minnesota's Largest Candy Story, in Jordan on US 169, and in my experience, opinion, the US best, you are so close. We have been tracking your adventures for a couple of years by now and this highly popular Minnesota roadside attraction is about 45 minutes West of the MN Science museum. A must have for the Carpetbagger channel, a pleasure to enjoy for your audience and a pure delight for you Jacob, a promise from Reinhold and MaryJane. P.S. when you are in the Barn, the true attractions are above the candy, besides a Zoltar and a penny smasher on the floor, do I dare to mention a working animatronic band performing every five minutes. Do I need to say more? Well, maybe next time, put it on your Calendar, we promise you will not regret the inside and outside awe adults and kits alike will experience...
Enjoy your videos. Be safe my friend.
Thank you!
The body slices in chicago blew my mind also as a child. I would stop and stare at the exhibit in terror-fascination.
I pray for the all the human mummies at the Field Museum.
@@mrstacyj9496they're dead I doubt they care.
Don't know if you're still in the Twin Cities, but the Mill City Museum is another fantastic spot to visit
I use to come here all the time as a kid!
My family had one of those vibrating belt machines 😹 As kids we would sit in the belt and pretend we were in an amusement park ride 🎢😹 Great museum 🌟💖 I think it might be time for You to invest in an umbrella hat☔ since I know it would be awkward holding something in both hands at the same time when You are filming 😸 As always, Thank You for bringing Us along with You Jacob 🙏💝😻
Fun video
I remember going to the original science museum which was on Wabasha street it was pretty awesome in the 70s and 80s 😊
35:19 Who would have thought... They had " Ankle Biters " way back then !! Bamba Rapters, sounds like a cute little doggies name !!
I really enjoyed seeing your face on the giant astronaut, you took the chance to make a crazy face and went with it! The medical quackery machines were great but was surprised at the recent dates on some.
Hi Jacob. Pretty cool! Dinosaurs and a concert!
Hi Jacob.. A much needed dose of a great MU E UM fantastic !!!!! MAJOR INPUT XXXX

Awesome! That's right down the street from where I live! I'd love to do an adventure with you next time you're in town.
I lost a fingernail when I was a kid. My ring finger got smashed accidentally and the nail popped off whole. Don't worry, it grew back, good as new.
Pretty cool place 😊
Morning Jacob 🤓📸 thanks for sharing this, hope you had a nice fourth of July yesterday, in my neighborhood u can hear the fireworks 🎇 go off near by lol they were loud. Like the museum 👍 you take care and have a good day.
Jmmy 😮😅😅good
Happy 4th of July!!
Would love to see you go to The Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, The Toledo Zoo, or to Put-in-Bay the next time you're in Ohio. All have amazing and interactive museums
Como Park Zoo has Mold-A-Rama machines, if by some chance you haven't been there yet. Also be sure check out Axman Surplus on University ave.
People laughed about the electric stuff....but I hurt my knee in the 70s. Doctor used some electrical charge thing every time I went. I don't believe it did anything.
Jacob, trying to not sound judgy but um, they make great, compact, waterproof shells now a days😉 It's been 5 days of watching you drown on land.
Jacob, you reminded me of Doc Brown from Back to the Future wearing that metal phrenology dome.
Crocidiles are as old as dionsaurs.
Orgone is also the name of a dope funk band. They will cure what ails you
the best!
huge fan also i love your videos
Awesome video! I’d forgotten how many exhibits are at the Science Museum of Minnesota. I don’t think I’ve been there in quite a long while! Hope you had a lovely 4th! 💥
Go to Fairmont and see all of the painted pigs around town.
Look fun ☺️
U should go to the Minnesotas largest candy store it is amazing
I love vegan food it just makes me anemic after a few weeks. My mom also. We have to eat beef n eggs to stay strong n healthy. I’m 63. Mom is 91. We eat lard and butter also. We both still work. I work 60 hrs a week in a factory repair robots and mom is a seamstress.
Orgone energy was also attributed to weather control and this is actually referenced in the Kate Bush song and music video Cloudbusting, which features a funky weather machine similar to those created by Wilhelm Reich, mentions the name of his family farm and laboratory in the line "I still dream of Orgonon", and is said to depict the close relationship he had with his son Peter as well as his arrest and destruction of books and equipment by the FDA when he refused to stop making medical claims and shipping his machines.
I just saw him at the mall of America next to the Lego store
Heat advisory here in Laurinburg all week hot today glad you had great 4th I loved seeing the fireworks at my highschool.
You should visit the raligh nc museum of science. Is a cool place
In boat with a stuffed goat named Pete dressed like Tom sayer maybe 🤔

Have @wonderful 248th / / thanks
Good job. Nice to see Stan. America needs a whole lot more science, and whole lot less Christo-facism at the moment.

There is actually something to phrenology. Thats actually why it was discredited.true story.
"According to phrenology, my skull indicates that I'm full of vitality and incredibly destructive...Some German doctor of the Victorian era would have told you to keep a close eye on me because of how potentially problematic of a woman I could be with that diagnosis." -my Wife of many years, a gentle perpetually fatigued and deeply creative woman. Spooky times, glad we're past that.
