No talking, no music to mute, just hecka rocks. Loved it.
I have a large Mason jar of opals I bought for $300, about 30 years ago, that I never have cut and polished!!?
Hummmm! Now's just as good a time as ever??!!!
No one should ever get bored during this pandemic! It's time to just "BE", and enjoy beautiful opals while you're at it! They truely are a beautiful, wonder of nature! No two, ever, exactly alike!
Hi you want sale it send me at mapsforu92@gmail.com all pictures and price thanks

Cheryl
It's my birthstone, too! Aren't they fabulous? 😊
same! those who are born in October ,opal is there with stone
Hi we have the same birthstone
I didn't know there was so many different opals. they are beautiful!
Neither did we until we started to collect them :)
I didn't either.....they are fantastic
Oh there's even more rare spices you never seen
Yeah, with quartz being one of the most abundant minerals, opals have just as many variety!
Where they cut by you?
I love bolder opal. All the different designs in the stone with the flashes of color from the opal are just little pieces of art. Love it. And all of those pieces are worth so much more than are on the little tabs I imagine today. Very beautiful pieces.
Inlarge picture of the opals
Dude gemology is so underrated I’m glad I starting doing research
I can't stand how dayummmn beautiful these opals are being that I can't phase through my screen to pull one out. Coordinate a stone for everyday of the year 🥰
The first piece of Bolder opal in matrix is my favorite of all. Unique.
OMG!! So incredibly beautiful. Iridiscents. 8:55 one of my favorites.
I feel in love again. So wonderful the energy comes over the screen too me.
4:05 best one. Looks artistic.
Beautiful collection 😍 learned opals come in all colors today.
The video has got off to a bad start 😒 the first one claiming to be ‘yelllow banded Opal’ is actually bumblee Jasper 😕 real Opal is beautiful though ☺️
I found a vein of wood opal in the mountain. I added it to my youtube channel. I like it so much. Thanks for the video
Thank you for showing opals on a white background so the true colors can be seen.
I think there are so many that are more visually appealing than the high priced white stones 2:23 for example
Colorless gems is always cheaper

After watching your vdo I felt as if mysteriously trapped inside these ovals are Aurora borealis and Aurora australis 😂 but loads of fun outstanding collections ❤❤❤😊
Какое разнообразие цветов, форм, оттенков и переливов даже без огранки. Ни один другой камень не сможет похвастаться такими качествами.
Nature is a most beautiful creator.
the lightning ridge from new south wales is GORGEOUS 1:28
I looked at a black opal in a jewelry store once and was almost hypnotized by the deep brilliant colors. The asking price was 15,000.
I, as a consumer only, would like to buy at those prices. I'd keep them like they are now, unmounted, just beautiful rocks.
Hi Gale,
And I'd be happy to sell you any of the stones that I still have remaining in stock, they are indeed beautiful, which is why my wife and I spent so many years amassing this collection! You can email me directly at earthartgems@gmail.com Just let me know specifically which stones you are interested in (the vertical inventory number on the left side of the tag) and I'll see which ones I still have and what kind of bulk pricing I can do for you if you want more than one.
Cheers,
Austin
email on the way. thanks
Thanks, I just sent you a reply, I am going to go and see what I still have left
Gale Sylvester
I get opal rough for decent prices on e-bay, but I'm dropping e-bay due to the fakes I've also gotten that e-bay does nothing about.
Hot glue does NOT come off of opals. It doesn't just pop off like you think it will. Trust me- I made that mistake when I was a kid. You will break them. Opals can take a bit of heat though, and your best bet might be gently warming the glue and wiping it off, but if one method fails, do not repeat that same method or you will just ruin all of them.
Thanks Andrea. You're correct. Which is why we used sticky glue dots :) they peel right off and leave no mess.
All Opals are stunningly beautiful
6:40 I would get that without a second thought
I can check and see if I still have that triplet if you are interested.
Austin Moore Would there be a lucky chance you still have that triplet? I'm very much interested in buying it, please contact me, thank you!
sir i am interested in OP16,OP17 and OP18. please tell me their prices. And keep contact me on whatsapp 0092 320 2547862

Yes I agree, all of them are pretty.
Wow, the man made ones have a beauty all of their own, which is different from the natural ones. I like both, but they IMO do have a different look. And price of course !
Hi darlin! Natural stones are called "rough" stones because they have just been pulled out of the ground, and are still in their natural or broken state! They are then cut, sanded, and polished though several series of special compounds to bring them to a wonderful shiny stone!
They are not "man made"!
They are beautifully, and humanly enhanced and their beauty is revealed!
Man made "stones", are just that!
Manufactured glass, synthetic diamonds, CZ etc! I even bought a bunch of synthetic opal!!??
The $ value between the two is huge - except --- some natural stones, like that tiger eye is cheap compared to some man made stones? Go figure???
I would love to get my wife an opal engagement ring that'd be awesome
To own an 0pal is to own a piece of a 🌈 rainbow. Since I was a little girl, I have been mesmerized be this beautiful gem.
I have believe first one yellow band Opal gigantic heart shaped and then had few of Australia Queensland but lost smaller one I had. Nothing so flashy but rough Rocky style Opal necklace. Opal is magnificent gem rock.
it is my new life goal to find and collect all of these opals. I will take a screenshot of this video so i wont forget it.
Hi thomas,
good goal to have. If you want, I have doubles of a few of the different types and would be willing to sell some of these at about 50% off the prices marked.
im only 12 years old, so i dont think i will be buying any of them soon.....
@@youtubeisvideocloudstorage5894 lol, sounds like you have plenty of time to accomplish this goal!

Thank youuu❤️
@@Charley-ju6yg you're welcome! Let me know if you don't get the emails, I sent one replay, and then saw your comment and send a second one with pictures.
Austin Moore I got them I've also answered.
My favorite was the golden opal
Beautiful opal
The honeycomb one looks awesome
32:16 beats by Dre opal 👀
Africa,Semi Crystal White, Semi Black and white,Boulder, etc of all the black and white ones are my fav!😄
I really like that first one the yellow striped
Some of these specimens that havent really been cut yet could be bought, worked on, and then you could make a large profit after you sell the complete finished opal. You just have to make it as beautiful as possible and you will surely make 3x your money back or even more
Very true. Most of the time I do finish my opals. This particular display was also meant to show how the stones looked in the matrix. But now that the display is done, if you want to buy anything in the video, I'll be happy to sell them :)
@@earthartgems I may buy one of the rough blacks, maybe the one with the band running through it to make a pair with. Seems like a thin color bar though so I may only be able to make a single stone with it, with the parts I cut off as accent pieces. Or I could just use some labradorite I have because it has a high variety of colors from purple to blue to orange and yellow, so I could just cut a couple of cabochons of the labradorite that match the colors of the opal
I also have some steel grey-blue colored star sapphire and a small star ruby I could use depending on the colors the opal brings out. My favorite gemstones are feldspars, like Sunstone, Moonstone, Labradorite etc. If you have any gemmy feldspars I would probably be interested in those too. I do want to carve my first opal though, for the right price.
@@terricampbell3179 what is the time stamp on the black opal you're looking at? I can see if I still have it and what my current price for you would be.
All the opals are very pretty but many costly
3:01 Cleopatra's eyes!
1:27 6.9 carats and $420 niceee
Omg
Very nice
SAO PEDRAS BELÍSSIMAS! !! PERFEITAS! !! PARABENS
The second opal black and white is reminiscent of a Japanese painting
Just stunning, nature is awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Wow they’re all so beautiful!
I like how you displayed and filmed the gems, dealers need to take a lesson from this - and btw, your work is awesome - I checked out your website. I sense a purchase coming soon, but what to choose? Lol, how about one of everything! I am just learning about opals and fell in love with a one of a kind Effy original at a major department store (a major unesseccary markup zone for sure!) original price $41,000 marked down to - lol - $14,000. It was the opal stone I loved, which had certain inclusions that somehow made it "mystical" looking. It was an australian opal with very azure and sky blue flashes mixed with rainbow fire, not too dark but definitely quite a few blue colors and tones...but not $14,000 worth! So, I will watch for a nice stone of yours, and maybe you can make the perfect setting!
Essas são as opalas mais bonitas mais incríveis que eu já vi no CZcams parabéns venho deixar meu joinha Deus abençoe
My proposal will be with an opal ring to the love of my life
These prices are double what is charged at full retail on almost all of the stones. I would love to get thsese amounts for our stock!
The actual price of these is less if you go to our website and see if we have the stone in stock.
@@earthartgems websitelink ple.
@WaaAtt Website home page: earthartgems.com/ or the gemstone/opal page: earthartgems.com/gemstones/opals Not all of these are listed, but if you want a specific stone, send me a message through my contact form. I answer all the emails myself :) prices are going to be less than that of what I have shown on the video labels.
earthartgems.com/custom-orders Use that link to email me directly, or you can view some of the opals here: earthartgems.com/all-gemstones I have most of these opals in stock, I just don't have them all listed.
Algunos hay que sacarse el sombreo ...un aplauso para la naturaleza que hace cosas tan bellas.
Opal is my birthstone, regardless, I would still be drawn to them. I had no idea that there were so many types. I don't know how i could ever choose just one as my favorite. I suppose the rainbow opal would be high up on my list if i was forced to make a choice. There's really something almost magical about them. Thanks for the video.
isso é lindo demais, adoro as opalas...suas cores facinante...
Laiz Ribeiro 😠
They are gorgeous
No sound. What are the multi display items? Man made? Are these all man made?
Correct, there is no sound. And yes! The card with the multiple rectangular opals on it are all Man made stones. this was a sample card from a synthetic opal supplier, displaying the various colors they could make.
Sweet new to the channel and love Opals.
I really dont like the yellow ones but the others are nice
Seems like Central America has pretty nice Stones
Mexico is not in Central America.
Alfonso Torres hey stupid go back to 8:50! I don’t know what the hell you talking but it seems to me like I never mentioned Mexico at all!!!!
Сердце останавливается от такой красоты
Tambien el contraluz bueno todos son hermosos me admira la forma en q los trabajan y las personas q estan en las minas es un trabajo duro
Artwork very nice, wonderful however if opening music is better.
Wooww..very beutiful & so many types ,
But , nothing comes from indonesia .
Indonesia has a beautiful type of opal ,
Opal from Banten West Java & Fire Opal from Wonogiri Central Java .
I did acquire one Indonesian opal, it is a green common opal, very pretty. It is in the video at 17:28. But I have not seen the fire opal before, I am sure it is beautiful!
@@earthartgems Yes, you are right...
sorry, I'm not careful...thank you for telling me
@@adhiinyonge4742 Of course, thank you for telling me there was indonesian fire opal, I did not know this.
I like blue opal
Not trying to be snarky here but the specimens you display of Louisiana opal didn't do it justice. The first one you showed is what we call brown cinnamon, or purple glow, due to its' characteristic purple fire glow in a rusty orange to brown matrix. It is actually some of the lowest quality stuff to be found here. The "black" you show is also the lower end of specimens of that base material. In other words, the same dark matrix but having the full rainbow spectrum. There are many other varieties of it, ranging from sandstone boulder matrix, which you show, to black to white to grey precious. All found within a small area. There have been specimens of Crystal opal found in colors from Amber to a brilliant purple in other areas. The sandstone matrix is found in only two areas that I am aware of. I spent time with Keith Griffin in the Hidden Fire mine in the months immediately preceding the mine's closing, and was a member of the hunting lease that now contains the mine and also the other creek where opal was found for several years, up to 2006. They are but mere minutes from my home. I have considered rejoining the club, because having watched many videos on here of mining operations in Australia, it is my belief that everybody overlooked the highest quality material. I'll look you up on Facebook and possibly we can speak by phone, it would take days to post here. Enjoyed the video, you have some really nice material there.
Thanks Gregg, Since my wife and I could not visit ever location, and we had a limited budget to put together this collection, we did the best we could to simply acquire some sort of specimen from each location. Someday, I'll have to go to Louisiana myself and check out some of these myself that you speak of.
Great collection
Beautiful 🥰 Stones
I love opal!!!💎😍
I was halfway through before I noticed - there is no audio. Wow has the price gone up since then...particularly black opals.
6:38 i could buy this and sell for $900
It’s a triplet?
I find it amusing that you've marked the region of Australia on your tags, but not the country in Africa - a continent several times larger than Australia.
You make a great point. If I had more information on the exact local from where those opals had come from, I would have added it.
Outrageously priced
I would keep them as is great collection!
nice opals you have, unfortunately you dont sell opals from Banten Indonesia which is very exotic, ancient and natural..
Thanks! I think we only have one opal from Indonesia right now, and it is common opal. If you know a good source, Maybe I could add one to our collection.
Austin Moore not common opal, but black opal.
Stone nerds and geeks too.
not all of them are opals though
Which one? Some are common opal, or opal material in matrix, where there is very little opal occurring, and no color play. But they are still classified as Opal
I've learned from research that not all opals Contain the fire or color flash, but they are indeed opals.
you can do some research yourself.
I was amazed to find so many varieties of Opal.
I own the pink opal but neither my wife nor daughter want to wear it. They say it looks too girlish.
lol, I could set it in a piece of jewelry for them, maybe something more masculine.
WatchMyVideoDude Lol what They don't Know how lucky they are . I would wear and I'm a guy lol.. Real men were pink The girls like That.
I have a punk opal not too girly for me!!
Pink opal!!
Были бы деньги и знание, где эту всю красоту купить, то скупил бы все
Ой, какая красота!!!! Красота!!!!
Wow! So pretty. I can't decide which is my favorite.
Opal are my birth gem
I wish I could have it in real life
Thank you for going to the trouble of filming all these specimens. Beauty and price seem unrelated.
In this case, the prices were set at a rate that would allow us to sell the specimen, and then be able to buy a replacement for the collection. These are retail suggested prices.
with the right seller in the right place, that would be much more expensive
Are these all sold? That first opal was beautiful.
It varies a lot. I listed many of them online in the years following this video (I published this video 8 years ago). Most have sold. Some have not, A few I have given away to by best customers. Some I never did get around to listing. If there is a specific one that you're interested in, give me the time stamp on the video and I'll look to see if I have it. I do know that the yellow banded opal (the very first stone) has sold.
My birth stone is opal 💜
So expensive.. but beautiful..
Is it bad that when I look at these all I want to do is throw them at someone’s head
Why would you feel like that
