Elijah wood fucking kills it as Spyro.
Mark Hamill was wonderfully malevolent, Christina Ricci can do better tho, and Gary Oldman was just perfect.

I love how Gary Oldman is talking. I have the feeling that he has some of Sirius Black's sense of morale. :) For a guy who played a lot of villains, he's simply amazing.
This was just an absolute master piece of a game in my opinion. I enjoyed the game play and the music is just amazing.
Finally. I can put a face on those voices of the video game of my childhood. Thank you very much for this video.

Where was this in my recommended until now?? Good lord, the butterflies in my stomach seeing interviews I haven't seen before, the actors all talking about the games and their parts, hearing the familiar voices. It makes me giddy inside. Also, so THAT'S what Malefor's voice sounds like without being so badly distorted they might as well have not had Hamill at all...
My heart bleeds for this trilogy. I need so much more. It's insane to think I first discovered it only two years ago, and it's become one of my favorite game stories. All the characters feel like family after playing all the games over a dozen times each. I have no idea what hole I lived in before, but now that I've thoroughly fallen in love with the trilogy, it's always at the forefront of my mind. Everything is a silly reference or quote. I need more, and it pains me there isn't.
I was just lanenting this to a friend. I'm finally replaying DotD for the first time in 12 years, and I'm struck by a deep sadness that this is the end of the story. Good as it is, epic as it is... There will be no more afterwards.
12 years? Welcome back - just like old times, huh Spyro? Someone's been frozen in crystal for longer than these two dragons have.
Perhaps it's for the better that there is no more to the story, as bittersweet as it is. The trilogy itself is perfect, story-wise. Anything following up to it would likely be inferior. And in this day and age where people ruin everything with unnecessary sequels or reboots that suck, I wouldn't have high hopes if something did happen.
2024 how i wish i could go back in time all the way to 2008 grandmas house the ps3 just had came out and so did spyro dawn of the dragons my parents drove far out just to get me this game it was almost sold out everywhere at the time the day we had got it that night my mom had to pull me off of the ps3 lol i still think about this game still obsessed with Spyro did not like skylanders much but im 24 now and it takes me back in a good way wouldn't chamge my childhood for nothing❤

Maybe they will make a Spyro movie one day perhaps in the next five or ten years and hopefully DreamWorks makes the the movie because I really don't think Disney can pull it off and DreamWorks did do spirit stallion of the cimmaron and how to train your dragon and if they can make those two movies look and sound great then they can do the same with Spyro as well. And P.S. cynder is my favourite female dragon and she is the black dragon so she is great awesome and spectacular.

Growing up with the original trilogy was wonderful, even though B.o.t.W. certainly improved upon the gliding mechanic which Spyro and Banjo Kazooie are known for being of the first games to introduce that ability in gameplay. But _Dawn of the Dragon_ is truly so fantastic as well in so many ways.
A Spyro game with Frodo, Serius Black, Luke Skywalker AND the "The Price Is Right" host simply CAN'T fail!😂

Wayne's delivery is fine, but Sparx has always sounded like a bug. I would have prefered a David Spade reprisal, Chris Tucker, or even the BZZT sounds from the original, (or Colin Mochrie if we're poaching talent from Whose Line. )
Rest of the casting was perfect, though, (despite the amount of distortion they put on Mark Hammil in scenes when he becomes hard to understand)
