This video is the first of what will be a series documenting my Progression throughout the 2024 Olympic season and I’m honored that you have decided to follow along.
I intend to highlight the highs and lows of my life as a professional track and field athlete and invite you into my life to get to know me in ways the media may not show.

Greatness to me is surpassing the expectations of everyone around you, including yourself, without losing your sense of humility.
For me, greatness is training so hard that events become easy and being able to do things like the 110m hurdles easily. It's really impressive.

Greatness is not a term that only the greatest athletes achieve, nor is it something that only other people can give you. You yourself can also tell yourself how great you are by setting goals and celebrating the small wins that come along with the journey to achieve your ultimate goal. When you achieve your goals and take the abnormal approach to achieve them is when you will reach true greatness
Greatness is knowing within yourself that you have you and God to succeed
Greatness, to me, transcends the mere accumulation of achievements or recognition. It is an embodiment of purpose, resilience, and the unwavering commitment to one's values. Greatness to me is coming back and attacking every session with 110% no matter how your feeling

Consistency and Greatness go hand in hand with one another because you can’t achieve greatness without consistency
Greatness is every feeling you get from achieving any goal you set your mind to, big or small
For me greatness is doing what no one else has done in a way no one else has done it before
greatness is sacrificing everything and everyone for what you love
Greatness is believing in yourself even when the odds are against you, and always pushing through.
To me greatness is achieving your goal. Greatness is not the eyes of others. Greatness is winning your life not the life of others. Greatness is your choice.
Greatness is having a work ethic no one can touch and continuing to grind no matter what
Greatness is what separates yourself from others because regardless of what they say for instance about track (“running is easy”) they don’t see the hard work, dedication, and commitment it takes.
Greatness to me is when are succeeding in the sport you love and when everyone wants to be just like you when you race because you are great
Greatness is knowing you have to get through the hard times to get to the goal.
The bar for greatness nowadays is so low people can be great by going to the gym, being great means outworking and out performing those who are seen as the hardest workers the best performers
The definition of great is “considerably above normal” but my definition is “considerably above those who are considerably above normal”
Watching this from Kenya. Daniel you are talented and highly favored by God. I wish you all the best as you enter the Olympic season, I can feel the Olympic mood has kicked in. Greatness means to me the synergy of mind and body, pushing beyond perceived boundaries.
Greatness to me is being able to be consistent in your training among setbacks. To show commitment and discipline in your work. To have a mental toughness and versatility being able to adapt to changes. Greatness is about making that effort to become the best person you can in all avenues. I think that discipline is a key factor to becoming great
To reach true greatness in the sport you compete in or the business that you run is by working as hard as you can possibly work, taking advantage of all opportunities, and taking on adversity head on and not shying away from challenges. This will prove what your character is like in hard times. You have to be calm through the storm to reach Greatness
True Greatness is shown with how well you respond to adversity
Greatness is in the form of discipline - the purest form of self love. Those times when you get up early and you work hard. Those times when you stay up late and you work hard. Those times when you don't feel like working, you're too tired, you don't want to push yourself, but you do it anyway. That is the dream of greatness.

Great: Of an extent, amount, or intensity considerably above the normal or average.
Greatness is something you achieve. You must believe in yourself above all else. you must push past your limits. You must grind until the sun goes down. No, grind even after the sun goes down. You must be who you were meant to be. I will achieve greatness if it’s the last thing I do

Greatness means a few things to me. They include achieving remarkable success in all things that I put my mind to, making a positive impact on the world, being a blessing to other people, and constantly striving to improve myself in all aspects of my life since I know that I am not perfect. Achieving this will help me to fulfill my potential, leave a significant mark on the world, and to embody qualities that inspire people around me.

In the means of track and field, greatness means breaking my own records and personal bests, staying consistent, being versatile, inspiring others, and having longevity! I am a freshman athlete in college and I just had my first meet on the 1st of this month and I see that I have things that I need to improve on, of course, but I need to work on not being so hard on myself because if I stay consistent and work hard the results will come in due time.
Greatness means to me the rhythm of breath, the pounding of feet, and the exhilaration of crossing the finish line.

Im 16 and from a very small town so i dont think i have the beat idea of greatness but to me its accomplishing something despite the challenges, being able to do what you want even when faced with mental and physical stressors. Greatness is rising past adequacy and becoming the best version of yourself.

Greatness isn't about being a winner but the humility and gracefulness of how you conduct yourself both on and off the track. Winners can be remembered as great or not so great people, but anyone can be remembered as great if they become humble and kind in everything that they do, and putting forth effort everytime they compete in whatever they do, regardless of the outcome.
