- Hey there! How have you all been doing? I tought it'd be fun to make more videos of me painting sketches and just unfinished stuff in general? I haven't been making many finished pieces either, just studying a lot! So this is what I have for you, currently! Hope you don't mind :,) I like painting loosely when I paint my sketches because I feel like I can paint however I want in them, while with finished pieces I can't get too experimental, because I'm afraid the result will be bad... If it's just a sketch though, it doesn't matter if it's a bad result, and that ends up making me feel more comfortable when painting :,) I'm trying to learn that finished pieces should also be treated as an ok thing to fail at, and that I should embrace it! Small steps, guys... :,) Anywho! Hope you liked this video! And I'll see you in my next one!

Yasss, I’ve been waiting for this!! I’m so glad they inspired you to experiment stylistically. It’s fun seeing Artists that inspire you, being inspired by other artists that also inspire you. It’s like an inspiration inception 😂 I’ve been enjoying your little journey so far and can’t wait to see what’s next.
Also I’ve noticed Tori’s influence, I can’t deny... she makes me wanna try the lineless watercolor art style as well. Sadly, I don’t have the time to do things traditional. But Chris Hong’s influence was surprising but welcomed. I also adore her cutesy Disney-1920s old school art style.

i’m always afraid to experiment with my drawings! what do you do if you make a sketch you absolutely hate?
You learn from what you hate and improve
Tbh, I used to be hella afraid of that but then I was just like "if it's bad I can just erase it" and I know that seems obvious but it honestly really helps to keep in mind
A month later you’ll forget about your one bad sketch. Just go for you have nothing too lose but a piece of paper. And future you will be glad you experimented
I depends on what you hate, if you're like me and for a long period of time you hate all the art you make then you should maybe start to reshape your style, or the things that you are drawing.
hedaya this sounds a little lame but for me, it always helps to retry the same idea over and over again until I find a version i enjoy- if you give up after your first time experimenting then you’re not giving urself the chance to succeed that u deserve!
