"Magic Trick" Inking and Painting Process

- Hey there! So in this video I say it's October because it was at the time I filmed it... I know It's late! i'm sorry... But I thought I'd show the process of one of my inktober pieces, since I got a few requests to do so! And before anyone says it, yes, my style has changed. I'm changing up my references and studying a bit more seriously, so I can get better! It's been fun... So this and future thumbnails are gonna look different from my last ones? It's a sign of growth, I guess? Maybe? Hopefully? So yeah! Hope you like this video, and I'll see you in my next one!
Materials used:
- IPad Pro 12'9 with Apple Pencil
- Sketch done with Uni NanoDia erasable color lead, in Red
- Canson Heritage Watercolor Paper, Hot Pressed
- Holbein Watercolors
- Talens Indian Ink
- Winsor & Newton Series 7 brushes, sizes 00 and 2

I don't do Instagram, etc, cause I'm an old lady and i just don't have that kind of time, so I'm always happy to see another milkywaes video on CZcams!! Love your style- the only words that come to mind are utterly charming! And I'm still waiting for you to open an Etsy store so i can get a print of cherry pop :). Whatever 'it' is, you got it girl.
Waes doesn't have an etsy, but she has a store on big cartel I believe. She opens it up every now and then with prints, originals, and stickers for sale. She always announces her store openings on Instagram though...

I tried using my iPad as a light box, but the screen always moves under the paper! It resizes or just opens a different app 😩
I love how this turned out!
I have the same problem, but I've noticed that if you layer pantyhose around your hand a few times it mimics those fancy drawing tablet gloves effect of not moving the screen around when you lay your hand on it. Maybe try that?

TEA QUESTION?? I usually put a little water with the tea then add milk but did you use milk instead of water ?? ( beautiful piece it reminded me of when I cheer my niece up wit candy💖💖)
