- I am at Long Island Cafe in Portage, MI where there is a breakfast challenge that you get to name if you can beat the current record. This challenge consists of their triple meat stuffed tsunami omelet covered in sausage gravy and served with a huge portion of hashbrowns and two of their famous cinnamon roll pancakes. I will have one hour to complete this and if I do I will get the meal for free, get an awesome T-shirt, and go on their Wall of Fame. If I fail I pay for the meal and go on their Wall of Shame. If I am able to beat the current record of 31:47 I will be able to rename the challenge! Can I beat the record? What should I name it if I do? Thank you to Levi and Jen for taking great care of us and inviting us into this wonderful restaurant! We had a great time and hope to be back soon!

The breakfast challenge looked great. Veggies in the omelet would have made it better though. Amber’s breakfast sounded great too. Reminded me of a local brunch buffet; after seeing this, I may need to go. I know another place you can get a cinnamon roll pancake. Maybe 1 on top of a stack of pancakes. Hahaha…

It's getting there! I appreciate that and while it's not much I do name them after her because it's just something I have always done. She even has a star named after and it's in the International Star Registry! She did love the breakfast but we both knew we were taking it home 🤣

I’ve only recently been introduced to sausage gravy on an omelette, and I think I’ve been missing out. Then again, gravy on almost anything is good. Except cinnamon roll pancakes. Those sound good enough on their own 😋.

Those are some of my favorites! It's all about calories in vs. calories burned. You burn more than you consume.
