  • To sum up how the Doctor felt about these WarriorLand products: he decided not to take them off the guns he mounted them to. That pretty much speaks volumes!! A discount code is given near the end of the video (spoiler alert, it's WTFIDT and it is for 10% off all WarriorLand Products). Do you have any experience with these products? I was a LEO for 25yrs. I have very mixed opinion on a mounted light. I now in retirement have the beginnings of cataracts. That makes red dots problematic. I thought lasers were for folks who will never train. Until I saw HRFunks video running a range qual. comparing laser to dots. Great vid as always, love the Sonny Crockett look......

Not a fan of tacticle light on a firearm! In order to illuminate an area with a gun mounted flash light, means you are pointing a gun at a potential non threat. Guns should only be pointed at targets, not randomly to aquire a target!

Yeah, I don't disagree. This is one of the key points that I had made in a previous video. I received a lot of comments pointing out that light (attached to the muzzle) should be used indirectly, aimed at the ground while reflecting up and illuminating the room. However, I still would prefer a separate flashlight.

@DrTac The problem with indirect light is when you need more light, you raise your barrel and point it where you shouldn't be pointing it! People can make all the claims in the world about how they should be using a barrel-mounted flashlight, but one thing they will never be able to do is adjust human behavior.
The barrel of a gun should never be pointed at anyone or anything you do not plan to shoot. Your finger should never be on the trigger unless you intend to shoot. These two basic safety concepts save lives; when you eliminate one, you have just increased the chances of unintended consequences.
I am no gun expert by any means, but I do know a thing or two about common sense, logic, and statistics.
