Ashima Mathur sure thing.
1. Trust yourself and how you feel about certain things. If you think something can be done better, or money can be saved in a certain area, speak up about it. You have no idea how important this is as the higher you get in your career the more you will see that people are scared to say how they feel, but everyone is feeling the same way and they wish that they had the courage to speak up.
2. Always speak up, especially in a meeting so your presence is always felt.
3. Have good relationships with your manager and other managers in the company. Well everyone, have good relationships with everyone. You never know who will be your new boss or your best friend.
4. Do the best you can in all the projects given to you.
5. Ask for more responsibility. Even if there small projects. Small ones done great, always have big impacts.
6. If you feel like you have learned everything you can on your team for your role, ask other teams if you can be of value to them.
7. When you get a job offer, always negotiate for more money. ALWAYS
8. Be understanding to other people, this is the best way to get them to do what you want by being understanding to their situation or the work they have on their plate. This is especially true if you are working with engineers, product team, and marketing.
9. Finally, do not ever let your limit of knowledge in a specific area hold you back from believing you can actually do something or achieve something. You can learn absolutely anything. So for example if you want to be on a project but you don’t have some of the specific skills for that project, don’t let that hold you back. Tell your manager that you are willing to learn those skills in order to execute that project.
I actually took notes because of how good this channel is… omg I wish i watched this at the very very beginning !!!!

Plz help me out! I am about to begin my HR internship at a 4-star hotel, plz suggest me the dresscode? Also how should i ask politely about my career ladder/ career commitments ahead in the same organisation?
What about when your internship has zero clue on what to give me, no plan, no schedule etc despite agreeing to everything beforehand 🤷🏽♂️
Eek I'm here after sort of messing up my first day.... It was far from ideal so I'm here to turn things around 🤞🏼

Great video! My supervisor has been super busy and hasn't been giving me a lot of assignments. I've volunteered to help and, at the same time, I'm trying to stay out of the way because it's a busy time for the company. I'm feeling a bit left out of meetings and projects. Many days I'm left with nothing to do. I don't want to go in a direction that's futile. Can you give me some advice?
Try to find ways you can help. Are there things you can try to be involved with?
