It's long overdue! The Historical dolls are core and need to be always available, even if on a waitlist basis (like the Barbie version) They need to keep adding new sets for Historicals, just my opinion, tho. Great Video!

That's what AG said about Molly and Kit and they are still here. I think that AG is only trying to make everyone think that it is temporary but once they see how popular they are, they'll keep them.
That’s possible too. Some of Kit’s items sold out though. As for Molly I was told a couple of months after the initial re-release that she is a part of their permanent collection 🤷♀️ I hope they keep Kirsten.
That could be a possibility, but I don't think that there is enough room in the stores to keep both versions of Addy Walker for a long period of time. We shall see what happens.

If American Girl would bring back the quality wooden furniture and dishes, hard to find outfits for the characters like Julies go go outfit - THEN I'd be excited. These dolls are available on the secondary market - and better quality Pleasant company - cheap! Would love Addys stilting outfit, sewing outfit, cape island etc. Kirstens on the trail outfit, baking outfit .

Kirsten being back is amazing! I just bought a secondhand Kirsten a week ago, so I will say I feel a bit screwed since now I have to pay big money just to get the accessories (since my secondhand one didn't have them), but I'm so glad that now I can get her birthday outfit now! Hopefully we'll get more later in the year!

Thank you for the photographs of the store while you were there. It really shows how much time and effort AG put into this debut. It shows that they really care about their customers. The Molly and Julie displays are amazing!😊 Love how they rolled out Josefina Addy and Kirsten plus their Birthday Outfits. Would be awesome if we could get some birthday accessories for these girls again. I know other fans have been asking AG for years for more historical sets. Hopefully something will come of it this year.

I was at this store in March for my 22end birthday with a friend. We had a great time. I was planning on getting Rebecca but she was sold out in store. So I got Maryellen and she was the second to last doll at the NYC location. She is now on backorder so I am happy I got her. I then rainy got Rebecca and now with this new release I oreded Kirstin and her birthday outfit as well as Julies recored player. I do not have Julie but now I plan on getting her full collection. AG really knows how to take my money! Hahah being a Berry menber dose help.
Wow, I didn’t realize Maryellen is on backorder. It’s good news actually, it means she is selling well, hopefully AG will expand her collection too.
What breaks my brain about Julie, is that she is this generation of children’s Molly. Molly was popular when AG first came out, because the grandparents were her age during WW2. They could connect with their grandchildren over it. Now the grandparents grew up in the 70s and share those stories.

I wasn’t even supposed to be in the city today, but things just magically worked out 😉 The record player actually plays music, how cool is that!
I think AG should have spaced out the releases for Julie items and then Addy, joesafina and Kirsten cause I think everyone is focusing on Julie more than the 3 girls
They could have done that, or they could have made this into a bigger event.
Im sad that kirsten is a limited im hoping she sells well to be given the chance to stay. She is so special just like the other characters!

I was in the LA store and the displays were beautiful! I purchased all of the outfits for Julie and another Julie doll.
I got Josefina’s outfit as I did not have that one. I’m not buying any of the other dolls as I already have them from the 35th Anniversary release. I purchased all 6 of them.
I love Kirsten and Addy so much.
I also have Addy’s Birthday outfit so definitely won’t buy this one.
In fact I also have those boots as well. I love love them all.

I purchased the 35th Anniversary Josefina, but she came with many flyaways. Flyaways drive me crazy, so I took her braid out and redid it. I am not happy with her anymore. I will purchase her birthday outfit and have the doll hair salon do her birthday hairstyle. I will go to the store in Nashville for my birthday next month and buy a Josefina there.
Oh no! Yes, buying at the store is the best way to pick a perfect doll.
I love the girl's in their birthday outfits I'm so tempted to get Addy even though I have Beforever Addy I like her blue dress but I love her original pink dress Better.

I was born same year as Julie so her outfits bring back fond memories of my childhood. I'm ordering during this 2X promo. I'm getting all 3 and I'd like to get the lunch box later on. The store displayed her holding her lunch box... 🤔as you have the old one, do you know if it's easy to do so and how? Same for her thermos, do you use a rubber band (doesn't seem to have a handle)? I'm getting Addy's birthday outfit since my PC is incomplete and Kirsten's because I've missed it and never bought it on the secondary market. I've been thinking of buying Addy for a long time and though it's tempting to take the old Addy, I think I'll still go for the BeForever (I like the new eyebrows). Thanks for mentioning about the status of the 3 Historical dolls. Somehow, I thought it would be like Kit and that AG would just keep them and actually that for Addy and Jose they would replace the BeForever (seems that's what is happening to Kit).
