Cats in season are so pitiful I swear. You can tell they’re so uncomfortable. Never mind the sheer number of cats in the world, there’s just no reason to leave a full adult queen cat unspayed, barring a medical issue like a heart murmur. But even then, leaving them can mean risking uterine infections, increased chances of mammary and uterine cancers, and they’re more likely to get into fights, have behavioral issues, etc.
Yeah. I had a cat (holy birman) that was on the pill for about 4-5 first years of her life. Because she was insufferable when she was in heat. My mom and I decided we didn't want kittens from her (because *we* wouldn't be able to part with the kittens) and neutered her. Unfortunately she developed mammary cancer when she was 9 years old. Vet said there is an increased risk with cats who go on the pill. We tried surgery but 2 months later the tumors were back. She lived to 10 ½ and even though I thought it was to short, she was a happy cat until the very end.
We also had an unspayed male cat when I was a kid. Very sweet to us humans but he had a big need to protect his territory and fight all the time. He only made it 1-2 years because he came home one day with half his face torn off and we had him put down.
Now, I always spay/neuter my cats. With so many strays, it's unessecary to breed cats anyway imo.
@@novanettle7497Females get spayed. Males get neutered.

What on earth is with that cat 😂😂😂 they are utterly bizarre but quite majestic. Ali is such a beautiful person. It absolutely broke my heart when she said "Should I have noticed" and she hated herself for not knowing when the vet only knew because of the x-ray. Ali is just the most amazing person, every time I see her I'm like 🥰🥰🥰
Banu is a queen and she knows it. Poor Scott is so handsome and sweet and some of these girls just don't want him around lol And poor Ali I feel so bad for her every time she has to take a dog to see Scott and just has to sit there so worried about her fur baby!!
I love Ali. When she gets torn up, I start crying too. She is like I am when it comes to animals And her relationship with Scott is beautiful. She is a beautiful spirit.
Banu is beautiful but a bit scary too, good to see her getting a little bit nicer to Scott in the end. Also so nice to see Ali and Scott team up to help the lovely Mable, awesome friendship. Michael did a great job giving this sweet dog a better life. Super ep, loved it & feeling sad its the final extended ep, it has been so nice to see more of the storyes.
She really said how dare you remove my ovaries. 😂
Poor Banu! All of us females go through that but maybe not as bad as Banu! Ali, you are the sweetest woman ever! Mable is beautiful and anyone that says Mable isn't, is clearly blind! I think I remember watching her first surgery on here but I could be wrong. I am getting old and my memory isn't what is was!
I don't understand the negative comments about the clothing on the hairless cat. It's a hairless animal from a warm climate living in a much more northern climate.
I don’t understand not fixing a cat that’s not used for breeding, with how upset they get, and the fact that they can’t do what their instincts are saying to do. Sounds miserable.
They learned this lesson the hard way I guess, and she's been spayed thankfully
What a beautiful dog, a great owner and an amazing vet. 👍
ERM ITS A CAT
I love the Sphinx cats - definitely have a unique personality, not for everyone, but they are certainly one of a kind. Ali is such a kind soul. And I think Mabel is a beautiful dog - so glad the surgery worked and I'm sure she'll continue to thrive with Ali.
That sphinx cat is clearly saying “ fluff off! (f*** off!) to Scott in this video with all her hissing. And wanting to bite him.
Banu is such a cutiepie, what a precious baby.. i know Scott can handle both of these cases, but its still a bit anxiety enducing because im still at the start, man i wanna be as good a vet as Scott and Chris. If i do veternarian things, it seems scary and hard, i dont know if i could handle it, i feel like id cry too much,
where are these vets.... so caring.... so human.... so emotionally involved? I don't know one.
My cockatoo has one. In QLD, Australia.
Where do you take ur pets ? To locally owned or corporate
sphynx's are like that, its a breed that glues to the owner and even follow them to the bedroom
Какие у них замечательные ветклиники!
Banu is hysterical! 😂😂
Hissss-sterical indeed! LOL

My daughter has a sphinx and he’s such a lover! We love him!!!
I'm a human with a heart murmur and it's totally benign. It's just a genetic abnormality that runs in the family.
Yes but some health issues are different in humans and animals
Not always , I am MD , murmurs are sometimes a sign of underlying heart disease
I had a cat that lived with a murmur without issue for 13yrs, then one night it threw a clot without warning and he was gone. Describing a murmur in cats as a potential “ticking time bomb” sounds pretty accurate to what I’ve read and heard from vets since my cat’s passing.
Just this year, his brother (now 15) has developed a minor heart murmur, and I’m terrified he’ll pass the same way, with very little warning 😢
In happier news, we rescued a kitten last year who reminds me a lot of my cat who passed; he even taught himself to play fetch, just like my old kitty ☺️
It's not always benign. They didnt want my sister to play football in case her heart decided to just quit mid game because of her murmur.
not all are harmless, some are signs of some severe conditions, even in humans
Mabel is a beautiful and sweet dog, who has a wonderful human in Ali.... Great pair!!!!!
Mable is a Beautiful girl you are loved by her, so adorable & the surgery help her leg so much to repair it how awesome is that? My hat off to you Scott & Michael .Awesome people very awesome vets to boot. Thank you Gentleman
I remember when my dog went through his ACL tears! When we went to the vet they were just surprised an elderly dog could be active enough to tear his ACL, but that's Ben for you! He's almost 11 but a lot of people think he's just out of puppyhood. The vets did a great job fixing his legs and they say he's bounced back the fastest out of any dog they operated on! This old man is just so full of surprises.
This is such a cute video! And Ms. Eva is absolutely gorgeous.
Dang. I know that with humans. A heart murmur causes the blood to clot up inside the heart. Learned that when my maternal grandma had a few clots break off and caused her to lose her right leg. She was a senior citizen at the time. I had one also, but mine healed up in childhood. I also found out that with humans, heart murmurs are genetic.
Did not know that about cats and heart murmurs.
Yay Mable!!! Hang in there Banu❤
Mable is SO beautiful😍
That cat does NOT like Scott. Lol.
No not really
Ali is a saint & their relationship is so cute :')
Wonderful work done on both animals. They are both gorgeous, gentle, souls. ❤❤❤❤❤
Yeah Mabel it's just beautiful
Poor Scott! He just wants cat cuddles
Bravo! Well done!
SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL GORGEOUS HUG AND KISSES LOVE TINA
I need Mabel's Ortho Surgeon to work on my knee, please.😊
Mabel has a beautiful smile!
Mabel is a beautiful and brave dog ❤ hope she gets to spend the rest of her life in peace with Ali!!
My goldendoodle has had both of her back CCLs repaired .. poor things
Dr Chris e maravilhoso e os médicos da bondade vet também ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
They could use a calming collar or other calming products if safe for her.
When my baby was in the NICU they would flick the bottom of his feet to bring him back. He faded many times.
I think Mable is a beautiful girl. I love her from a very long distance. I know N Y is as far away as California. Give her a big hug and kisses from me.
Scott doesnt realize the name banu means grandlady or princess
I Love Ali, she is So much like me I think if we met we would be Fast Friends. Edit: poor Bailey 😭 I tore both meniscus in my left knee AND my ACL. I am Tough, I have Trigeminal Neuralgia and my pain tolerance is REALLY High, meaning it takes some Serious pain to knock me out, in a way I am like a dog with pain😅. Anyways for 2 months I was on bed rest and crutches, I have been doing my physical therapy for 3 weeks but that meniscus
Is still sore and if I lose my balance which still happens, but it's not just because of my ACL, it is also vertigo, from my migraines and bad Trigeminal Neuralgia. The weather we have been having is doing a number on my face and head. Actually had to cancel a dr's appointment this morning because I just got hit with a bad migraine, the Trigeminal Neuralgia flaring on EVERY Branch, and a full on Sphenopalatine Neuralgia attack with the nausea, multiple sneeze attacks where you can't breathe. Plus This morning my Sphenopalatine Ganglion block is BARELY working anymore which means the constant pain on the left side of my face up into my temple and around just above the ear to the base of my skull constant 7/10 with electric burning jabs hitting between 8-10/10 and taking my breath away. Thank the Universe that I have my Sphenopalatine Ganglion block appointment the day after tomorrow. Just have to get through physical therapy for my knee issue tomorrow 🥴😂. Unless I am dealing with Insane Nausea and vertigo I will go, because my knee doesn't hurt like that to miss physical therapy, I will just need Extra help counting my reps😂
That first chic cute af.
She's beautiful
i love hairless cats
Her eyes are gorgeous, female cats in heat sometimes have swollen genitals so it probably hurts combined with strong mating urges aggravate them to no end. Glad she can be spayed
Sphynxes are a breed originating from Canada
Also egypt and russia
@@brettanymichellelawson-top5197nope. The first Sphynx came about in the late 60s from Toronto. That’s why it’s called CANADIAN HAIRLESS CAT.
@@SandraCat22 there's a don sphinx from russia
❤❤❤
Wow. I'm surprised that Scott doesn't know about Sphynx cats...because they have no fur, they need extra protection against the cold. The cat wearing clothes isn't just some crazy cat lady thing. It's for comfort & good health. Cats can get sick if they get chilled. But I guess nobody can know everything...🙄
We were not there for the entire conversation so he could have mentioned that and we wouldn't know it. However he has mentioned hairless/mange breeds, weather and sweaters in the past.
I own a spyhnx whos 6 years old ive had her since she was 9 weeks old and my vets laugh and joke with me about my girls jumpers i buy them specially made for spyhnx from someone in scotland. My girl has a pet pushchair where she has pet bed and 2 blankets on aswell as her jumpers in severe cold weather i will put a hot water bottle under the bed aswell i always say if she gets too hot i can remove layers but if I don't have extra blankets and its cold then im unable to add layers to keep her warm. Do i go ott with it maybe but inleast i know she will be warm and comfortable like she would be at home etc
Our Gerry wears the cutest sweat shirt in cold weather. Fabu!!!
Why’d the description on the community post say final episode?? Are they ending the bondi vet series ?? 😢
No, the description says it's the last Vet on the Hill Extended Cut. Content will still be posted, it's just this particular series of sorts has now ended with this episode.
@@darkluxgames2347 Oohh okay thank you, saved me from some sadness
Vets should always wash their hands big time so cats don't smell the other cats and dogs on them
They do
I think Mable is beautiful ❤️
Dr. Scott miller doesnt realize shes a Canadian sphinx or hairess

I will just SA it straight out: that sphinx cat is just not charming nor nice. There you go. I said it .....
The show is not the same with out doctor chris
I am heartmumer and I have disblty
I assume this is filmed since COVID, in the US Doctors do not shake hands or any other unnecessary touching. I’m not sure about Vets, but COVID and other contagions are still worrisome.
my dude, NOBODY cares! They are adults and they are also medical professionals, they can do what they need to!

I hate it when people want their animals to get surgery because something embarrass them. Its not about that it's about loving your animals and caring for what they want
I'm so sorry you feel that way. Poor Mable was suffering and this was not cosmetic surgery. I'm so happy for Ellie bcuz now her baby can run and play as she was born to do. I hope that you never experience such a critical injury that limits your life as was the case for Mable.
Female cats if not fixed at some point can get utures infections so if your not breeding them you really should get them fixed all cats act differently In heat
They aren't always benign in humans. And keep in mind that we are quite a bit bigger than the average house cat.
I have to agree with the above comment. Cats and dogs can get something called pyometra if not spayed. Although it's more likely in older cats it's not a chance I'd want to take. You can look up pyometra in cats to learn more about it there's plenty of medical websites that give info on it.
Fifth comment
This video is not about a cat, it’s a dog video.
Huh? It's both?
Im sorry i hate these types of cats. i love cats not this type. I hope she does not have heart murmer.
She does
