It's nice to put a face to the emails, finally. Maybe I'll do a pack video before September. Long live exo!

We share alot of the same type gear, took me years to dial in .Only thing for me missing was an adequate meat hauling pack. Well last night
I purchased the exo k3 4800 fusion excited to try it . It will complement my quality gear I already own . Giving me a base weight of 15 pounds or under.
With out mentioning company names I own 5 of the hightest
    Quality and priced packs .Yours
Will be number 5 .looking forward to my 10 day September Colorado Elk hunt ,and this pack is going with me. Cheers Erik the Red from Florida.

Great video Mark and thanks for posting. Sub 18 pounds is legit. That looks like a very dialed in setup.

Have you tried the Solomon ALP MNT boot? It’s a bit stiffer than the quest. But don’t know how it compares to the other boot you said you were trying.

Nice video. Out of curiosity, are you using instant oats for your breakfast meal? I like the idea of oats, fruit, and protein. I may have to try that this year.

Yes, just instant oats. Vanilla whey with dehydrated bananas and cinnamon is one of my favorite combos.

Hey Mark - always enjoy your videos, thanks! Couple questions regarding your platypus dirty bag. I assume you are using the Sawyer quick connect system for attaching the dirty bag to the filter and then another quick connect for attaching the filter to your clean bag - is that correct? I am also wondering how do you keep water from leaking out of the dirty bag while transporting? Do you simply have a hose with bite valve connected? It would seem carrying around an entire hose and bit valve would be a bit redundant and excessive - just wondering if there is a better system to keep water from leaking out of the dirty bag.

It is a dirty bag from the Platypus Gravity system. The top is zip-access and the bottom is has a built-in female quick-disconnect attachment, so a small piece of male quick-disconnect runs from the bladder to the filter.
