Fantastic vide, and yes Mountain House is a pain to eat with out a spoon. Bean there done that. Speaking of comfort food When I use to backpack a bit. I was turned on to jello pudding. Just add a small box (flavor of choice) in a ziplock with powdered milk. When it is time to eat just add the water to the bag squish around with you fingers to mix. Then just cut the corner off the bag and eat.

Try replacing the broken Jet Boil cup (I broke 2 on my Ti version) with a Ziploc 1 pint. twist lock small round container. It fits perfect, just as light, wont break, and its easy to replace. Done. ziploc.com/en/products/containers/round/containers-twist-loc-small

the only problemb i have is the 25" frane length. i want a kuiu 24 but they are out of product. i want to use the kuiu icon 3200. can i moint it on tbe exo frame?
can you find out which size thermarest stuff sack he is using in this video as a pillow? I found them on amazon, and like the idea, but they have a small and large size. I'm curious to know which one works better (as a pillow) when stuffed with a first lite puffy jacket! Might save a few ounces and not have to carry the pillow if this works as good as the concept sounds. Thanks!

31 lb? Naaa your missing gloves, jacket, face mask, extra clothing if you get wet, drinking water etc .Your bag should me more like 40 to 45 lb, then you got your rifle and ammo going up to 55 lb. I ve tried to cut a lot of stuff out off my pack and wen you add everything it goes up to 60 lb. Your tripod its a monster. I got a small one 15 oz.

Jet Boil has a telescopic fork, spoon and mini spatula set that I recently picked up at Sportsman's Warehouse. Wasn't expensive at all.

Tell Tyler there are GORE-TEX socks and hunting boots that are LINED with Gore-Tex. There is NEVER any good reason for having wet socks and wet feet.
