Hi, I am German (not from TUM), but I also want to study at TUM and have informed myself on the grade requirements.
If you go on the TUM website and onto the different kinds of majors, then somewhere you can find many pdf files. You could probably find your answer there. One for example would be about the calculation process of the grade and also other factors if the grade isn't enough.
It difficult to explain in detail but maybe you can take a look at the website. For the IT bachlor, only math, English, German and the best natural science grade are important.
