  • Satoru Ozawa, a licensed acupuncturist & a founder of hariQ acupuncture & herbs, shows you the 8 Steps for Trigger Finger You can do at Home.
    Remember, it is important to see your doctor if you suspect Trigger Finger so you can get a proper diagnosis and get on the right treatment path to treating your injury. (See Disclaimer below)
    Massaging and stretching are essential tools for Trigger Fingers because they increase blood flow, soften tissue, and loosen muscle and tendons by increasing the human's healing ability.
    Don't forget to massage, stretch, and heat therapy every day. Even if the progress is slow and discouraging, staying positive can help. Research shows that about 86% of people experience improvement after their first injection. However, if you get more than 3 injections, your success rate drops significantly. And your doctor may suggest you have surgery.
    If you're dealing with Trigger Finger, whether it's been a while or just happened, it's crucial to act fast to improve and speed up your healing process.
    And if you're interested, we offer acupuncture at our clinic to help reduce inflammation, increase the flexibility of the tendons, and improve blood flow to cure your trigger finger naturally.
    I hope this video was helpful to you. We look forward to seeing you in our next video. #triggerfinger #triggerfingertreatment #triggerthumb #acupuncture #naturalremedy #dallas #plano

    This was an excellent presentation. I just want to share something that helped me recover from trigger finger of my right-hand ring finger, I am right-handed. I developed having trigger finger about a year and a half ago. I don't know for sure, but I think all the hand sanitizer I was using during the covid pandemic actually caused the natural lubrication of the tendons to become dry, from all the alcohol in the sanitizer. They say women are more prone to trigger finger and it could be that they have their hands in water more, which I believe might also cause the natural lubrication to be diluted from all the water absorption. Anyway, I started using a couple of drops of olive oil and a hand moisturizing cream, which I applied heavily at bedtime and also a couple of times during the day. I thought the oils would be absorbed and if they reached the tendons, they would help lubricate them and help them move more smoothly again. It took a couple of weeks after which my trigger finger problem was gone.

      Thank you so much for sharing your awesome experience! It's really interesting to learn that frequent use of hand sanitizer causes skin dryness and leads to trigger fingers, and it makes sense. Anyway, it's great to hear that applying just olive oil and lubricant cream can help release the trigger finger in a couple of weeks. Thank you for sharing your fantastic success story!

    I did my research and found out that taking vitamin coenzyme vitamin B6, P-5-P (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate) 50mg - 3 times a day along with Chelated Magnesium (as magnesium glycinate) for absorption, cured my trigger thumb! From my research they said you have to take this for the minimum of 6 months to start working. Well, 6 month and 2 weeks later my trigger thumb totally cleared up, seems like overnight after suffering for over a year and a half. I'm cured, and just last month my hand doctor said he thought I should have the surgery to fix my trigger thumb! My trigger thumb was really bad, had to splint my thumb 24 - 7. I even had steroid shots in the thumb, no help at all! Anyways, this worked for me, even though my doctor didn't believe that it would work!

      Thank you so much for sharing your amazing success story about how you were able to cure your trigger thumb by incorporating supplements and minerals into your routine. It's fantastic to hear that you found something that works for you! I completely agree that these vitamins can have a really positive effect on releasing tension and lubricating the synovial fluids around the joints, resulting in smoother and more comfortable movements. Thank you for commenting!

      A major resource for my research were two books, one written by John M. Ellis M.D. & James Presley, titled, "Vitamin B6 The Doctor's Report" copyright 1973 and "The Doctor Who Looked at Hands - Vitamin B6" by John M. Ellis M.D. - copyright 1970. He talks about using Vitamin B6, P-5-P (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate), the active form of Vitamin B6. I wish more people knew about it. From what I read, it can work for corporal tunnel too!

      @@artmanjohn2 Thank you for the information. I've had TF in 4 different fingers so this is a blessing
      along with the stretches and spoon. B6 helped cured my shoulder pain. I've been using boron
      but will up the dose on my b6 and order some p5p and mag.

      I'm sorry to hear about your fingers. It must be really tough having them bent for so long. But don't worry, there are some simple stretches and massages you can try to relieve the pain if you have trigger finger symptoms. Absolutely! You can definitely perform both stretching and spoon-scraping exercises to help with your trigger thumb. It's best to start off with some gentle stretching and massage, followed by the spoon-scraping technique, focusing on the thumb area. And don't forget to apply a nice warm heat pack after the exercises. I hope these exercises help you recover from your trigger thumb soon!

      Is trigger finger the same as Dupuytren's contracture?

    • @hariQacupuncture
      @hariQacupuncture  Před 8 měsíci

      @@nanowomansk When someone has Dupuytren's contracture, they usually have a lump on their palm that can cause the finger to bend and deform in severe cases. So, if you notice a lump close to your palm, consider the possibility of Dupuytren's. The lump may be tender or not to touch, and the finger may become more deformed as the condition worsens.

      @hariQacupuncture  Před 8 měsíci

      Hi there! Thank you for your comment. Based on what you've shared, it seems like your injury may be different from trigger finger, especially since you mentioned that you had an accident at work. Without knowing the specifics of your injury, it's difficult to provide a precise recommendation. However, if your finger is stuck in a bent position due to joint tightness, you may consider trying joint mobilization techniques to loosen up the joint capsules. But, if the finger tendon is ruptured, it's best to consult with your healthcare provider for more accurate advice. I hope you have a speedy recovery!
