You won’t get that far trying to look intimidating with little more than a regular old steel sword or heavy duty armor in a world inhabited by superheroes, Humans, mutants, inhumans, aliens, sorcerers and gods, and especially not over at Marvel, where more than half a century’s worth of creative writer shave busted their humps coming up with all kinds of otherworldly metal to explain away the various imaginary properties of their characters’ equipment.
Any Marvel fan out there will be happy to jump at the opportunity to inform you that Wolverine’s claws are made of Adamantium, or that Wakanda’s weaponry is made of Vibranium, but these two famous metals are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to all the strange metals floating around in the Marvel Universe, all of which power anything from intergalactic spaceships to godly weapons made for bashing bad guy heads.
Had you for instance heard of the gravity-bending Gravitonium, the odd Mysterium that can only be farmed from an alternate dimension through the combined effort of six powerful teleporters, or of the Anti-metal resources hiding in the Savage Lands in antarctica that can instantly melt any other metal that gets a bit too close to it? Or what about that time a swordsmith made swords out of peoples’ very souls?
We’ve dug up a whole 18 incredible metals from every corner of the vast comic empire just to find out just how much is really out there… and just how deep in trouble we are if anything like this should ever show up in the real world.

Uru/Adamantium 15th century type XVIIIb (Oakeshott) longsword. I'd leave the bottom half of the blade dull/a very extended recasso to facilitate half-swording allowing it to easily penetrate joints or gaps in armor. The range is a HUGE advantage over an axe or hammer. No matter the strength of the wearer, a sword will move faster, because of its point of balance and mass distribution. That part is simple physics, with no way to alter it. If we find that the highs field can be manipulated to "lighten" objects or materials. Otherwise mass is mass and can't be created or destroyed, or conveniently changed 🤔😐🤯

Here's a little pop culture fact, the first mention of the alloy Adamantium is not from Marvel comics or any other comic character. Instead, it was first used in an old science fiction movie from 1956 called Forbidden Planet. In which the antagonist has blast doors made of Adamantium for protection. But the poet Virgil had wrote about the metal sometime between 29 BCE and 19 BCE. Which he referred to godly armor. Marvel however was credited as the creator of the metal in 1966. Side note; Robbie the robot from the tv show Lost in Space was also debuted in the movie Forbidden Planet. Thanks for reading some of the useless facts I know that probably have no real value but it makes me feel better being able to share my knowledge. If anyone actually reads this post, can you please let me know with a "like" or "dislike"? Sincerely appreciate this

when caps shield was smashed in end game, i'd like to have seen a new one made with uru thrown into the mix, then have it enchanted by dr. strange or similar "whosoever holds this shield, if they be worthy, shall possess the power of captain america" would have added a twist in the TV show that bucky still isn't quite worthy so his use of it is iffy/sporadic due to his redemption arc, falcon doesn't deem himself worthy so has to use the length of the series to get into the zone, walker started off worthy but then slowly becomes corrupt and loses his connection to the shield so that's why he wanted the super soldier serum. folks can pick it up but its physics defying attributes don't work and it doesn't give you super soldier levels of strength/speed/etc unless you are worthy.

With this new metal you can manipulate gravity, summon lightning, transfer enormous energy from it, give the possibility to move at lightning speed, immunity to magic and its almost infinite durability.
I would put this metal into my inner layers of skin and to my skeleton.
The name of the metal is "Munipull"
muni short for immunity and pull which is a reference to the manipulation of gravity.

An uru/adamantium 15th century type XVIIIb longsword. The bottom 1/3-1/2 of the blade would be unsharpened/an extended recasso to allow half-swording. This allows the blade to be gripped and aimed into gaps in armor, and even pierce thinner plate, leather, and can pop links of maille. Mjollnir is much more powerful in the Eddas. The most powerful frost giant king Utgard-Loki (No relation) states this: mjollnir is capable of smashing his head to goo with one blow, or leveling a mountain too. Mjollnir is no where near this level in the comics or movies, which is fine, even good. It is a bit OP, and there's not much story if he can one-shot any foe.

Metal or Skin or brains and wise cracks and humour but it is the individual who has to prove their worthy to lift a hammer or become a member of the team of legends not the weapons the fighter the soldier the godling the boy the woman the Android the the star the spirit the Knight the legend of legends and the Lord of space etc
