I always feel like Ultra Q is a bit underrated, it's my personal favorite ultra show
Its the first and one of the scariest.
The show that started a franchise still going strong for nearly 55 years...

Seeing the turtle episode made me really miss my turtles, I had pet red-eared slider turtles that I raised since they were babies, eventually they got too big for the tank, so I set them free in my grandparents’ lake by their house a long, long time ago. One was extremely short-tempered and hissed a lot, another was pretty lazy, but chill, the last one very kind and sweet. I’m sure they’re doing fine though, turtles can live for decades and I’m also sure that they love their new home. They might have forgotten about me by now but I’ll remember for all four of us. Odds are the real turtles in Ultra Q are still alive today too, just way bigger since again turtles can live for a very long time, longer than most humans actually.
Man, that whole Kanegon's Caccoon section felt like some kind of art thing. Must've been hard to explain normally.
"Challenge from the year 2020?"
Is that foreshadowing? Were Tetsuo Kinjo and Kitao Senzoku Time Wizards?!
Still, great video! I actually got startled during the ending of the Turtle segment, even though it was just loud music and wasn't meant to be taken seriously.

Decent series,but my question is how were they gonna link this to Ultraman and Ultra 7 as a trilogy. There's no way unless they shot an epilogue scene
It's just the "Ultra" brand name.
A lot of things are linked together with a brand name that bear almost NOTHING in common. Heck, they reused the Ultra Q "paint mix" intro for Ultraman/1966 because that was a big "special effect" in the 1960s. 2001: A Space Odyssey also used paint/oil effects for some of its special effects sequences, too. Before CG became "the thing" in the late 1990s, a lot of special effects were done with real smoke, gas, and oil.
Give you another example of unrelated media --
Tatsunoko Productions (the animation studio that produced Speed Racer and Gatchaman as its most significant exports to the West) made a trio of "Super Dimension" animated series that have NOTHING in common in the 1980s. These were Super Dimension Fortress Macross (NOT originated by Tatsunoko but they were a significant partner on this), Super Dimension Century Orguss, and Super Dimension Cavalry South Cross. Again, none of these shows were linked in continuity or shared characters. They were "Super Dimension" shows because someone at Tatsunoko thought "Super Dimension" was a neat label for a trio of shows! Macross and Orguss shared a common character designer (Haruhiko Mikimoto) but that was about all they had in common.

I love the episode, " Grow Up Little Turtle" and the episode, " Kangoon's Cocoon", where a boy turns into a money eating monster after entering a cocoon.

The turtle one was kinda pushing it, I just couldn't tell in what direction. I at least know enough that it resembles a retelling of the Urashima Taro legend, but under what new context I can't say. I'd give a synopsis but, this is youtube Look it up. I just don't know what lesson is supposed to be learned here, though I can see allegations of animal abuse.

Please watch the Ultraman Anime on Netflix! It bases it's story on the manga and in my opinion is amazing! Especially the fight scenes! The last episode? Pure perfection!

Dude for real if we wanted to hear these peoples voices we would watch THEIR channel. Having someone come in once in awhile is fine but this truly lazy because your taking veiws they could be getting on their own channel. If you dont want to do the work dont have the channel
Dawn Breaker (the host of the video) is the one who does the History of Ultraman videos. Technically this channel is for Marcos and Dream Bomb, which Dawn, Liz, and others are a part of. Marcos doesn't make all the content for the channel, just most of it, videos like this are an example of that. Not trying to be rude, just hoping this helps you better understand the setup of this channel
