    "Kaiju" means (literally) "Strange Creature," so the said creature will have some sort of mysterious or supernatural background. The thing about this genre is that, for some reason, it doesn't involve "strange creatures" that aren't enormous, like "The Creature From The Black Lagoon" or Frankenstein's Monster. I mean, there's nothing in the translation that would preclude strange beasts or monsters that aren't enormous. It would seem to me that the enormous monsters would be called "Daikaiju", while less "Great" creatures would simply be called "Kaiju."

    Just a constructive criticism from me: you need to balance your volume better. Having your voice louder than the voice in the edited-video parts is annoying to listen to, especially when not using earphones.

    Hey You Forgot To Add Attack Of The 50 Foot Woman And Jaws.

    • @ferbusgddc
      @ferbusgddc Před 9 měsíci

      50 Foot Woman is an entry inspired and a response to the success of The Amazing Colossal Man. While 50 ft Woman is more well known, we put Colossal Man in the list since it was one of the first "big person rampage" type of movies that were successful in this time period

    • @DawnGDDC

    • @SlapstickGenius23
      @SlapstickGenius23 Před 6 měsíci

      There were also two unofficial Japanese Tarzan movies which were pretty much gone by WW2. That’s not to mention of them being super forgettable movies.
