- I’ve just upgraded my gaming setup with Govee’s latest AI Gaming Sync Box kit. A full RGB strip and light bars which connects via HDMI to your PS5, Xbox Series X or PC. It will sync and show ALL colours on the screen! (AD - items gifted by Govee).

Definitely been using govee and recommend it to anyone in search rgb lights. Have it around the room, desk, tv and inside my car.
Thanks for doing a review on this unit and answering the one question I had about the HDMI. Phillip hues tried this before but it scaled down the refresh rate really bad. Glad govee has created something much better.
I have had plenty of RGB LED’s on the back of my LG OLED gaming tv’s but I recently got some Govee’s and they are superb. The best quality I’ve had by far and they’re super bright, but the main thing is the customization in the app, it’s incredible. I really want this sync box now! Looks mega. I’m sure you’ve just really given their sales a big push with this video. They look so impressive.

When this was first shown on the website it said 4k at 60hz so hearing it's actually much higher on release is great!
4k at 60hz is the best it can do at 4k. It can do 1440p at 144hz and 1080p at 240hz.
@@Sword8808 ok that is what I thought then. This product is already dead in the water, that is not good enough for gaming in 2023.

Very cool. It’s funny, I recognize your setup enough at this point that the 27” monitor looks out of place. Used to seeing the larger 32”. As for the Govee, very interested.

Yes I will do. Need to get one first though.
Aren’t these bad for fps due to some added traveling to to the box and out. Rgb lighting is a give or take. When I’m immersed in the game, I don’t notice them. But when I’m just sitting at my desk doing whatever, the lights do add some life while the monitor is idoling on the ps5 lobby/home page. I like auto cycling the colors Just adds more life to the setup.
Hello Mr. SpawnPoint! Big fan here from Costa Rica, quick question here hope you have the time to answer it I see that you use the SteelSeries Artic 7P+ and you play Warzone but when I play on my PS5 there is echo on the mic. If you know the answer thank you !

I'm using the Phillips Hue Sync Box for my TV and I also have Phillips Hue Lamps for my Room. I have a RGB Stripe from Philipps Hue too but it's not as goood because it falls off on my table and my Wall is Green so the colors are wrong. I have also ICUE Smart Tower but they are not really Syncing. Do you have better recommendations?

I read this syncbox works with Dreamscape. Will the AI function work with all lights around the room paired with Dreamscape? Also, do you need the camera or will the light work by decoding the HDMI input signals alone?

Hello, I have a problem with the package and hope you can help me. I set everything up as shown, the lighting stays white. Even if I turn on the aimode, the lighting doesn't adapt to the game like lol. Does the bix have to be connected to the WiFi for this to work or what am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance for the help.

How do these compare the the Phillips hue strips?
Does 4k 60hz limitation mean you cannot use your 240hz 4k and are actually limited to 4k 60 ingame, or does it mean it only updates the colours at 60 fps instead of 240 fps (If your monitor supports 4k 240 that is.)?
Because as amazing as this honestly looks, I do not want to be limited ingame to only 60 fps, if my new 4k monitor supports 240 hz, thanks!
What 2 or 3 'good' CONSOLE games are people playing in 4k 120hz that makes HDMI 2.1 such a necessity?
So as i understand correctly… you have to put the HDMI from console like PS5 / XBOX into the center where the 2x HDMI ports was seen and then this input signal get transferred to the TV itself? Could please confirm me that as an example the 120 HZ on action shooter like Rainbow six siege won‘t get lost? Did the receiver transfer as well the 120 HZ refresh rate?
The same question about PC, I have 240 hz monitor, so it's only about DP...
@@juuhch sadly the developer Govee doesn’t explain that on her own website. Might be someone else knows that or Spawnpoint‘s YT channel
So this box sits between your console/PC and the monitor. One HDMI from the PS5 to the box. Then one HDMI from the box to the monitor.

GAMING RGB. I found that Govee has step their game up recently with their products, I was a big Philips Hue person at one point but I found myself going to Govee lately.
I’m the same. I have a mixture of Hue, Govee and Lifx now.
@@SpawnPoiint Hue is an amazing system don't get me wrong, I haven't had a single issue with any of the products I have. When you have companies like Govee enter the market with lower price with high end product to compete with the Philip Hue of course us "techies" will buy into their market to try!
