  • Wheeling with big tires has increased risks for damage and binding. You should really consider upgrading the axle shafts! Of course this in itself will not prevent breaking, so hold onto the parts you take out as a trail fix measure.
in this video we show how to disassemble and install the rear axle shaft!

I got new Spicer rear axle shafts drop shipped from Spicer in mid December, and my ABS sensor rings also weren't pressed on far enough. Thanks to your video, I knew to press them on the rest of the way before even installing them. I'm sure that saved a lot of headaches, as I was leaving to Moab the following weekend.

@@JLLIFEOFFROAD You bet we did! As part of the trip, we wheeled in Sedona just before Christmas before going to Moab. It was a bit challenging in Moab with fresh snow. We ran a number of trails making first tracks in snow - and ice. It was sketchy! I think you saw some of the pics, including my pic from the Top of the World on new years eve in the hella yella JL on one of the JL facebook groups. On the way home we got to go by Sand Hollow outside St George. Just an epic trip.

They work great off road but not so great hwy.looks awesome on the jeep. I think if I stay with 44 tires may have to trailer it. I really love driving it to where we go off roading and the 40s no problem on hwy.but the 44s getting wobbly on hwy I put bead weights but still wobbles. No problem with 40s but the 44s I do.so I trying to check into what we can do about that.was really glad to see you upgrading your axels. Hows the j10 coming along? @@JLLIFEOFFROAD ya 1800 is a bit out of my budget. I was trying to save up for a gear change, that's not happening any time soon now. What's your thoughts on avanTEK? They'd seem less exspensive, but ate they any good?

@@JLLIFEOFFROAD yeah it's me. You got a crazy Frankenstein lift going. I really enjoy your videos and happy to see your wife getting a little more camera time. I know it's probably unpopular to say but I stopped subscribing to LB channel. I just have nothing in common with them anymore. I was one of their first subscribers when they bought the JL and they were just normal folk's. Now they get nothing but the best and don't worry about breaking shit. I've got a family, house payment and pay for all my parts. Really happy for them and I know you guys are tight but they've outgrown a simple man like me. I remember breaking your balls about your wife lol. I respect the fact that she said " fuck the rest of you Patagonia people I'm picking my own tires" and she did her own thing. Love you guys.

Haha well we are glad to have kept you on board.. I remember u calling us LB copycats 😂. LITEBRITE have always been good to us.... but I understand what your saying... they have evolved a lot from when they first started to now.. I will always wish them the best, but don’t expect everyone to love them. We will continue to be us, appreciate you always watching and following! 🙌🙌
