A recent event that shows what happens when profit is the priority is the big news train derailment in Ohio because a for-profit business is legally mandated to make as much profit as possible, and when you're dealing with infrastructure, that means shorting safety.
Fun fact about diamonds: DeBeers is sitting on a ton of diamonds to create the artificial scarcity and marks their diamonds to inflate the perceived value all the while fighting against companies that are creating diamonds that are clearer, brighter, less expensive, and much, much better for the environment and society at large than mining them.
Can’t wait for Ren to break down the socialism of Venezuela or the communism of every country that’s ever tried it. Will be a fun comparison.

We all should be very thankful that Sony dropped him. No way he'd be doing songs like this if he wasn't independent.
He wasn't technically with Sony, and they didn't "drop him" he had to quit. The guy that discovered him, was an independent contractor, but he most often brought talent to Sony. The guy was instrumental in Plan B's career, who Ren looks up to. When Ren couldn't play anymore cause he was so sick, the guy said to get back to him when he felt better and they'd pick up where they left off. Half of Freckled Angels was written under contract with this guy, and when Ren asked if he could use that music to release his debut album independently, the guy graciously signed it all back to Ren. I'm not saying this to stick up for Sony, but I think everyone sees that guy as an evil arm of Sony, and Ren speaks very highly of him. Ren tell the story much better in the Justin Hawkins interview.

May pause less through the song as most of his songs explain what he means and then go back after ro break it down it was a little frustrating when you ask a question and it answers it in the next bit lol. Just a little of helpful criticism other wise a good reaction

@@guitarmuscle6968 my comment wasn’t inferring there should be no pauses, it IS a reaction video. But having consumed thousands upon thousands of reaction videos, I was trying to offer a tip to help retain viewership. Even Knox will let at least two stanzas go by prior to pausing and then back up and let it flow til the next section. Pausing too quick and too often feels like trying to watch a movie with that person who asks questions over the person on screen delivering the answer to their question, and then they miss that answer. Gotta let it flow for a bit, and then revisit it.
Not hating, on the contrary, trying to help. This channel has amazing potential, likable host, great content, great themes…just lending my opinion to hopefully help grow it even more, that’s all.
