Even if the person didn't have a gun, they'd have found another way to express whatever evil act they were committed to doing. Getting rid of the gun doesn't solve the problem. However, if someone had been able to help the person with whatever issues they have that caused them to do it, then the danger is gone. Obviously, that doesn't change how terrible the shootings are, but don't blame it on people owning guns. People have owned guns in America for years and years before any school shootings, so the guns aren't the problem, so you have to look towards other things that have changed, like the decline in mental health. 😅
