It was a rude awakening to see a number of people I counted in my circle be so insane. Needless to say not in my circle any longer.
He knows that not everyone on the left isn't celebrating it, but enough of them are. He put this song out over night. So, he had to put it together really fast. And, he was just pissed at how people were reacting on Twitter
Yes and no. The thing is that we all know that the media goes hard left. For years now, they've been saying that Trump was a threat to our democracy and saying that he was literally more evil than that guy from WWII with the funny mustache. The people who go after Trump supporters (like the group Tom mentions in this song) are all part of the progressive left. They and the Dem party have been doing everything in their power to dehumanize Trump and make him out to be a threat to the country and everyone's rights and so on. After hearing this kind of rhetoric on repeat for 7+ years, it was only a matter of time before someone with some issues was going to attempt something like that. That's the left Tom is talking about.

@@user-xl4zf5bk6c The Left is so deranged and brainwashed that it truly doesn't even matter who the opposition is at this point. If it's not a Democrat that the Democrat establishment props up and tells them to support, they will automatically reject it... Doesn't matter if it's a Republican, Independent, or even another Democrat. Just look at how they rigged their primary. There were other Democrats running against Biden but they made sure that they didn't have a chance, same thing they did with Biden in 2020 and Hillary in 2016. The Elites in the Party install their candidates and their base just goes along with it, allowing it to keep happening because they're too blind to see what's really going on and they've bought into all of the fear mongering that the Liberal Media has fed to them, that they don't care what dirty tactics their Party plays, as long as they win and save them from the "horrors" of what the other side would bring if they were to win.
RFK Jr. is another perfect example... He tried to run as a Democrat opposing Biden and look what they did to him! And he's a Kennedy, basically royalty of the Democrat Party. They censored him, lied on him, demonized him, made him out to be crazy, refused to platform him or back that he's even running as the Independent candidate, denied him the right to debate Biden and Trump, refused to give him Secret Service protection despite being over qualified for it given the family history and the multiple credible threats to his life. There's still a lot of people who have no idea that he's even running, let alone know any of his beliefs or positions on policy. Unfortunately, it's already near impossible for an Independent to even have a serious chance at winning the Presidency in this 2 Party system. So the odds are already stacked against it but when you also have a dishonest Media industry and the whole political establishment unjustly working against you, that near impossibility basically becomes just plain impossible, unfortunately.
I'd honestly love to see a more than 2 Party system. I think our Country would greatly benefit from it and that we need more options than just the 2 that we've been working with that clearly haven't been working for us for a while now. I hope that some day we will get to that point but I just don't see it happening any time in the foreseeable future.
