2022 Impact: Jorge Barrera | The Holdsworth Center

In the faces of the students at McNeill Elementary in Lamar CISD, Jorge Barrera sees himself - a young migrant student struggling to prove himself. As bilingual coordinator, he was motivated to help students pass the state test for non-native speakers. Holdsworth’s Campus Leadership Program equipped him and his team with the tools to move the needle.
