      Well QoS and FileSharing is enough for me.🤷🏻‍♂️
      the house is small so I don't need MeshWiFi. also internet provider sucks, so half of the routers features are basicly useless here in iran.🙂😭

    Do you have to have a modem?

    • @Behfor
      @Behfor  Před 3 lety

      If your Internet connection requires to have a Modem (most of internet services they do) then yes you also need to have a Modem because this device is a wireless router and doesn't have a built-in modem.

  • @dannividal
    @dannividal Před 4 lety +2

    after you do all that how do you disconnect it from the modem and put it in a different place without loosing the signal? can the modem be in a different room? and what do you need to do for that? thank you

    • @Behfor
      @Behfor  Před 4 lety

      If you cannot move the modem with the router, you can run a longer Ethernet cable between them and this way they can be in different rooms.

    1- Can you buy 3 or more of the same exact router and use one as primary and others as far distance units (In bridge or non-router mode)?
    2- How friendly is this router with security cameras?
    3- Did you use a USB port for network HD?
    4- What is the real-life working range and how is the wave penetration of this TL-Link, through the wall (My older TL-Link is really superior even compare to much newer routers, in this).
    5- Do you consider this still a good slick wise buy, in mid-2021 for the price or do you have a better option is a low budget, well capable routers?

      What kind of internet do you have? If it is through coax cable or DSL you'll definitely need to connect the internet cable to a modem first and then from the modem to a wireless router. The modem should be compatible with your Internet Service Provider. That being said, there are also Modem/ Wireless Router combo devices that could be used. The ones that are provided by the ISP is usually one of those.

      @Behfor  Před 4 lety

      You'll probably need a modem for this (depending on how you get your internet) if that modem is a DSL modem then you probably need a telephone line. This is something that should check with your service provider.

    • @Behfor

    • @Behfor
      @Behfor  Před 4 lety

      That'll depend on what type of internet connection you have! If it's coax cable or DSL then you'll need a modem to convert that into an Ethernet connection that this router can use. But if the internet is already coming to you as an Ethernet connection, then you might not need a modem!
