Indian city udaipur and rishikesh and haridwar and shimla so butiful visit 🇮🇳🇮🇳👍👍🕉️🕉️🚩🚩🙏🙏
Haridwar got spoiled
Udaipur was our cup of chia. By nature, Harriet and I are laid back people. Our stress level rises when we are being rushed around and hustled. It sounds like Udaipur was your cup of tea Phoebe. Nobody should be uncomfortable travelling alone and being harassed . You did the right thing by being firm. So sorry to hear that happened to you. Don't let that prevent you from enjoying and filming your travels. Phoebe, what we love about you is your sincerity and honesty. Hope you're doing ok. Sending you much love ❤ from our current location in
Guimares, Portugal . Harriet, Jim and Yuki
Thank you so much for the kind words and support - hope you're having a wonderful time in Portugal!
I really don't understand why some illiterate village men get so excited after seeing white people! It's just beyond me
Hi Phoebe. Great job as usual and thanks for sharing your experience and even your frustrations. I think it's perfectly fine for you to vent. I know the majority of people in your community, including myself, enjoy you sharing your experiences (both good and bad) and care about your well being. Looking forward to your next video.
Thank you so much Don :) I really appreciate you and all our amazing friends here in our community giving me a space to feel confident to share every experience authentically! Personally, it's what I love most :)
Nice to hv hd virtual touring of udaipur...Will watch in details later❤
Really enjoyable video! You have captured the vibe really well. I loved the vibrant colours everywhere. The colours on the Sari you tried on looked amazing! You are right , reminded me of parts of Greece!
Miss Phoebe:Congratulations to you for heading Udaipur, India this week in great joy to tours this amazing city to meet great people on the streets in June of 2024❤❤❤
I also wanted to do a tour but somehow I had this feeling that the guides will just be a nightmare...so I think you would have had a better time in the golden triangle if you had gone alone. Now this guide in Udaipur just looks like a sweet guy!!! I will fly into Udaipur and am glad now that it will be my first city!
I really liked it & Wonderful scenery!
Thanks for watching :)

Been following your account for such a long time and was great to see you my home country. So sorry to hear about your bad experiences. 😢
Wow~ unlike other rivers in india ,this river is super clear
Thanks for watching :)
90% of rivers in india are clean. Where do you think billion people get their water to drink?
@@rahulj.005 no they are not clean , accept it and put your ego aside . Water treatment plant is what makes water clean

Welcome. To. India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Visit shimla manali and kashmir especially in January for snow. In summers its great. Shimla has many gothic british architecture as it was the summer capital of british india. And andaman nicobar islands and lakshadweep islands for white sand blue water beaches in winter.
So good to see you enjoying a city in India, I do know what you are saying about Agra and Jaipur even when I travelled there 15years ago you could see how much they capitalised on tourists and found things were expensive and pushed on yo, Although I loved the halal mahal in Jaipur it was about the coloured and architecture. I am grateful I went to taj however the Golden temple was my fav of all the places and I truely believe it’s because of the feeling as it is still active and people were genuine there not just there to visit as tourists. Still asked for photos I too am blond with blue eyes but much less in Amritsar as they seemed to be more interested in their personal pilgrimage or experience.
Lovely vlog Phoebe like always. Very honest feedback too and glad you enjoyed your visit. Udaipur is my personal favourite ❤
It’s a shame having to put up with the bad behaviour. More power to you for putting your foot down 👍
I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip, look forward to the next video 😊 Happy & Safe travels to you.
Thank you so much darling, you're so kind x

sorry to hear about your harassment experience - both online and offline. You don't have to apologise to be venting about it. It needs to be talked about a lot more.
Thank you - that's so kind of you
That’s a nice little city in India. I’m sorry that you have to deal with creeps while you’re traveling, especially what some of these losers post on your comments. As a male I’m always considerate and always try to avoid making others feel uncomfortable. Be looking forward to your next video

ohhh Phoebe you are coming to Mumbai that's so cool plz have a meet up ...
You are brave to have visited Rajasthan in the summer. I go to school here, and there's no chance I'll leave my dorm during the daytime, lol.
Also, I'm sorry about your bad experience; things like that can really ruin the whole trip, but I'm glad you liked Udaipur. If you want a more relaxed experience with breathtaking views, I wholeheartedly recommend Leh in Ladakh. It's just a 1-2 hour flight from Delhi. I cannot recommend Leh and its nearby areas enough.
Oh wow! Leh sounds like a beautiful spot! I'll do some research :)
I am Chand Basha I am from India so you are exploring India one of the city everything is good so along with that I am a big fan of you Phoebe as well you are looking very pretty good
I couldn't agree more. I am brunette but am travelling in the Philippines and day 3 am fed up with the amount of harassment. I had to have a very chill, indoor day today to calm down before resuming travel.
Glad that Udaipur made up for the unpleasant things in other cities.
From your vlog it doesn't even look like you're there in peak summer. The lakes, waterways, and white buildings cool things down in Udaipur.

Hi Phoebe, India is beautiful. Stick with it and see the real India at your own pace. The dessert was gulab jamun, a deep fried doughnut soaked in syrup. Keep up the good work!
Hey Phoebe, lying in bed with the flu, feel like I'm dying but happy to see this upload, it's really beautiful and the lake 😍 also your hair is looking nice I don't know if you did something different but it's standing out to me😂😂
Oh Zoey, noooo! I am so sorry you're sick darling, that's not good. Rest up and take care, I hope you start to feel better soon. Having a flu is awful! hahaha oh gosh - thank youuuu!
Loved the video & filmmaking, Phoebe.
As an Indian, I myself don't fancy Golden triangle route myself. But I can understand why people from outside would want to travel there since that's the classic India you have seen & heard of. I think the best way to travel is if you have a friend or know someone in that part plan the travel for with recommended hotels & modes of transport. Unfortunately, Delhi is just the scam capital of the country, 1000 Rs. for that plate of food was definitely one.
I would always suggest avoid travelling to big Indian cities, they are just not made for travel. Instead, you can travel to many small towns like Udaipur. If you are in Rajasthan now, I can recommend Jaisalmer for sure, I think you will like it. But it will be HOT. If you have more time, Himalayas would be a good option in this weather.
All the best for your travels, hope your experience in India improves going forward.
if you still in india try to visit Mountain region of india in the north, Himachal pradesh manali or leh in laddakh.
Shimla is very beautiful place, check it out in India

As a James Bond fan, I was quite excited to hear that you were going to Udaipur. I saw from another comment that you've not seen the movie "Octopussy," but, now that you've been to Udaipur, I think you'd like parts of the move (in my opinion, it's on the lower end of the list of Bond flicks). But, as stunning as the movie made Udaipur, you made it look better! You got to see the bad guy's lair (The City Palace) and the island hotel, where many scenes were filmed. I think you'd get a kick out of watching it and being able to say, "I was there!" (I get the same thrill when I'm in Key West and can visit some of the places filmed for another Bond movie, "License to Kill"). But, enough of my Bond-geekdom; on to more important things, like this great video!
* Ok...the City Palace doesn't look anywhere as near as good in the movie as you did here. So much color! Wow. How did they miss all of that in the movie?
* There is one shot you have from the Palace that shows the city--it's huge! What a view.
* Based on this video, I'd really like to stay at the Taj Lake Palace island hotel (it's a bit...pricey! 😆And always booked!)
* Seems that the best way to see anything in any tourist area is to get there as early as possible. And pick "off season" if you can. Yeah, it's hot...but you got to see so much more!
* You know, sometimes you say the perfect thing: You feared India wasn't for you, but you kept on exploring based on a friend's recommendations and found what you love there. That's what travel (and, heck, life itself) should be--if it's not for you at first, keep looking. "Let's go keep exploring." You'll find your happy place and what you love. So glad you did in that city.
* ...monkeys...your favorite, as I recall. 🤣
* Seemed like you got a great tour guide. Glad you were able to travel with him--seems like you had a great time and felt safe with him.
* What an incredible Temple...so glad you captured them singing. That was amazing.
* I think I read on Wiki that Udaipur is called the Venice of India--so you were spot-on with how you felt about it.
* Being honest on this channel (and, thus, being honest with yourself) is why this vlog is so special. We know this isn't some "Insta" channel--it's real. Some of us know first hand, as we've been lucky enough to follow in your footsteps and on your recommendations. Thanks for that!
* Not sure I've ever mentioned the smooth transitions you have between shots. But I do love them. While sitting in the cafe talking to us on A-roll, fade out from you saying that you'd go back...keep the voice over...and then fade into B-roll leading to the next stop. Nicely done.
* Given how hot you said it was, it must have been tempting to jump into any of the fountains at the Garden of Maidens. 😜
* Those Saris looked beautiful! Too bad you couldn't fit it into your luggage (SIX meters?!? Wow--no wonder you couldn't fit it in!)
* We may have paused the vlog a few times on the Yummy Yoga menu! That looked great! 😋. Full Tali!!! (Wish I knew what it all was, cause damn it looked good!)
* Yikes! The price differences....sounds like what we do to tourists here at the theme parks in Florida...sheesh!
* Less people, safer roads....that's our jam, too!
* That boat ride looked almost essential...what a great way to see the city! (and thanks for the tip about where to sit).
* We agree--not big "culture show" fans. Always seems a bit fake. But that did look and sound beautiful (at least what you showed).
* Here's where you've helped us--you did the guided tour thing and can recommend that we do our own planning and our own trips. But, for some others, a tour is how they'd do it. Find what works best.
* Again, thanks for the tips about how to get into India and the links to help those of us who'd like to visit (and, after this vlog, boy would we ever like to visit!)
Phoebe: Erin is right and asked me to explain something. I owe you an apology. I signed off in my comments last week with a statement that goes along the lines of "men suck, sorry," and, in retrospect, that seemed flippant. And I fear that you may have taken it as such. If you did, I sincerely apologize, because, I assure you, it wasn't being flippant or dismissive. It was a bad attempt to quickly convey how I felt--it comes from someone who has, over my many years on this Earth (don't ask how many!) seen people--men--behaving abhorrently. These kind of men do suck. I will never understand the mentality. Do they think that kind of behavior will get them anywhere with their victim? I don't understand and, worse, I don't know how to stop it. Watching what happened to women--my friends and colleagues--while I worked at Disney...well, I can only imagine the situations you've faced. I ended a friendship with someone upon discovering his antics with a cell phone camera. I wouldn't want to read your DM's or email (glad to have read that you have filters put in place). With that said, you are one of the most courageous woman we have ever seen. Knowing that some people will behave that way, you decide to not let them deter you from your dreams. We hate that you have to scream at these vermin and do what you must to avoid them, but we so admire you for standing up for yourself. You've made serious sacrifices because of these horrid men. I remember you saying in another vlog that you actually had to move your home once a few years back. We completely agree that you need to ensure these vlogs are produced long after you've left your destination. And we agree that, unless it's in a group and controlled setting (like your proposed group travel trip), it's impossible to do a meet up. But still, you won't let that get in the way of your dreams and your life. Don't let it stop Travel for Phoebe. Know that you've got a great community here of virtual friends and supporters--feel free to vent anytime that you need, either on the vlog or in the comments. We'll support you, back you up, and may even be able to offer some assistance. Continue to be safe and continue to share your dream of a life of travel as long as you'd like.
All our best and love and support. Rob&Erin
Oh, Rob - you are so thoughtful. And thank you, Erin, for sharing more of how these experiences are for women. I didn't find your comment flippant at all. I too just don't know what to do about it anymore. Like you said, I have to hide where I am and have had to move house because of it.
Truthfully, I've been quite scared off the group trip plan. After I shared those videos I received an unexpected amount of harassment. So many messages and emails from men who see it as chance to date me and turn it into some weird version of the bachelorette. I found myself thinking, 'I don't need to do this and I don't need to feel unsafe or deal with any of it.' For now, I've shut the idea down.
It won't stop TFP, don't you worry :) Thank you so much for always being so supportive! I appreciate you both so very much. P x

The golden triangle tour is definitely not a good idea for first time foreigners. For first timers i always recommend the south, northeast and the far north like Kashmir, Laddakh, Himachal etc. Delhi isn't even worth it, Rajasthan is GREAT tho with a well planned trip. Mumbai is also amazing, the elora caves and so on.
Come visit Kolkata (City of Joy) & in fact the whole West Bengal 😀You will definitely like it better than any other cities in India. This city really goes easy on foreigners 😅 if you can't trust me you can watch some of your fellow vloggers from US (Daily Max, World Nomac) or UK or other parts of Europe who have visited Kolkata and other parts of WB recently. You will see a whole different culture, you will find a more calmer and more sweeter part of India. And by sweet I really mean sweets from sweet shops that will increase your sugar levels 🤣. In the north of our state WB we have Darjeeling Queen of hills and Himalayas you can't and shouldn't miss.
Pro Tip: Don't Visit Kolkata or WB during Durga Puja Festival (depends from September end- October end) if you are traveling for the first time. Because the whole state goes into a festive mood with pandal hopping so you are going to miss out the touristy things because roads will be blocked and you will find million people on the road just walking for miles. It's a different euphoria and should be done on 2nd visit 😂 only
Hello...

Hi Phoebe! The nature in this video was quite nice, I didn’t expect India to be so green as there’s so many people living there. Your Indian clothing looked fantastic 😊. That boat ride sure did meet your expectations, it’s the perfect scenery. I use Airalo as well, highly recommend it! I feel sorry for the misbehaving people who can’t just let a girl enjoy her trip without being sexually harassed. Terrible behaviour. Good that you got it out of your chest. I hope it doesn’t affect the way you look at a certain country or place, because somehow you will connect a place to the people. That’s why I hate Egypt, because of the people’s behavior. Hope you’ll get your comfort back soon and have an amazing week ahead 🤙
I didn't expect it to be so green either, Felix! I just never knew there were places with lakes like that - it honestly felt like being in Italy. So beautiful! Yesss, Airalo is the best! They're my go-to now :) Ahhhh so interesting about Egypt. It's a dream destination for me but I'm wondering if maybe it would be a good idea to do a proper group tour there so I'm not totally solo?

Good review - including the honest comments about the selfies, harassment & intensity of North India. Imp for ppl to know before they visit, as it'll help them decide.
As you said, India may not appeal to/ feel right for everyone & that's okay. I feel you had a harder time even in Golden triangle than it seemed in your previous video.
Thank you, I was nervous to share it because often talking about this kind of thing leads to even more harassment.
