Gazal Al Shaqab is a World Champion as well as a sire and grandsire of World Champions, including Marwan Al Shaqab. A stallion of great type, balance and quality, he was selected for a breeding lease by the historic Polish studs Janów Podlaski and Michalów where he produced multiple champions, including the two World Champions, Pianissima and Emandoria. Standing at Michael Byatt Arabians in the United States he has continued his tradition of producing exceptional sons and daughters.
Representing a thoughtful blend of Egyptian, Polish, Russian and American bloodlines, Gazal Al Shaqab is a son of the beautiful straight Egyptian champion, Anaza El Farid. Kajora, his dam, was a truly unforgettable mare. Named a U.S. Champion mare before she was acquired by Al Shaqab, her sire Kaborr was a U.S. Reserve National Champion and her dam, Edjora, was a pure Polish mare from the lauded "E" dynasty. Gazal Al Shaqab's pedigree reflects many of the most celebrated Arabian sires and dams in modern history, including Ruminaja Ali, *Naborr, *Ansata Ibn Halima, *Exelsjor, Bint Deena and Bint Kholameh. - Sport
An online friend has a son of Gazal Al Shaqab. He is being beautifully trained and cared for and is a true joy to his family and all those who are watching him grow up. He is a lighter bay than his sire and has a slightly more dished face, but otherwise strongly resembles him. He has such a sweet and bright personality, is gentle, a fast learner and has a delightful sense of humor. Needless to say he and his human Mama turn heads wherever they go. But it's his brave Arabian heart , that might be on display during adverse conditions on a trail ride that make his Mama's heart swell with pride in him. FreePalestine-Thank you for this :) When I was a kid, a friend stitched a sampler for me with a quote she’d found: “And God took a handful of Southerly wind, blew His breath across it and created the horse. Ancient Bedouin Legend”. I’ve tried for the last several years to find that quote (or information about it) and you came thru. The version you shared is much cooler; and, I’ll always be grateful to my friend Janet sharing the shorter version with me.

It's a shame really that such a great horse is so under praised,it seems a lot of the praise goes to Marwan Al Shaqab but if it wasn't for Gazal,Marwan wouldn't even exist.
Every time Marwan is mentioned Gazal is also.
