As a Republican Voter who lives in NJ, I would rather him stay in and run for re-election because he changed his party affiliation to Independent, so now the new Democrat nominee is a guy representing NJ's 3rd congressional district on the house floor, making this NJ's very first 3 person senate race and I think there's some possibility that with Menendez as an incumbent who was a Democrat, now a third party candidate will split the vote with the new Democrat nominee, giving NJ it's very first Republican senator in 50 years.
They need to show this in the media instead of covering it up

I suspect the Democrats are hoping he will leave on his own without forcing the expulsion. The problem is he is up for re-election this year. So if he resigns, the governor has to assign a replacement who then has to put a campaign together before the November election.

Treason is hard to prove if dine in secret. It is the only crime described specifically in the US Constitution.

How is it that our government doesn't have a committee oversite of each departments books? On a regular basis. Don't count on each department giving you the actual ledger/documents sent to you. I'm sure the tax payers will not mind spending on this to avoid the cost of these corruption nightmares.
