Thank you! I'm working on it!
@@chjeltness great suggestion! I’ve been in touch with someone at GGR, they’re definitely aware of my content. I’m hoping they’ll want to collaborate sometime.
@@KaizenDIYGym ok
So you're saying a need a new 3x3 rack? Thanks that's all I needed to hear, no need to respond you've done enough.
Yes! You must have a 3x3, don't worry about any of that u-bolt stuff I mentioned for the 2x3 racks.
Lmao
Wow. Those are amazing. Full range of motion and simple enough that I know what all those parts are just by looking at it. Pure genius.
Hey, thanks so much! They’re still holding up great too
This is absolutely brilliant content , from the build itself to the video to the instructions. Really cool guy
Thanks man, I appreciate the kind words. This stuff is so much fun. As long as people want to watch, I’ll keep making videos.
I made my own jammer arms watching your videos. Thank you for all your informative content.
💪🏾
That is awesome! I’m glad you find value in my videos!
You are really making my life a lot easier!! Thanks for these vids!
You’re very welcome. Thanks for watching! I’ve got plenty of builds planned for the next year! I’d love to see what you make. Tag me on Instagram, or check out our Facebook group or Reddit group to post yours!
NICE JOB!!
Well done! Links to everything too.. Very impressive.. Love the retro intro video too. Thanks so much!
Hey I'm glad you like it. The links take a lot of time to put together, I'm happy to know they're useful.
Just made this today based on your instructions! I am waiting for the swivel casters to come in so I made a small modification and put it on a heavy duty hinge mount so it only has single motion but will switch it out when the parts come in. Just couldn’t wait to get it implemented!
So cool! I’m happy to hear the instructions were easy to follow. If you’re on Instagram and would want to send a picture of your jammers arms when they’re done, I’ll post on my page. I love seeing this stuff.
SO did it turn out ? I found a 4 pack of 6 x6 at 38.5 " in storage , My wife saw me laughing and said whick project. ? I said after your HIP pad .
@@BRUTUSPLAC It turned out great! Just used it in my workout today for military press. At this point, I’m trying to make each of his projects come to life at my gym!

@@KaizenDIYGym no problem! I have some homemade gym equipment already and have been trying to come up with ideas for some of the exact pieces you've built. Problem solved! I'll be adding your ideas to my gym asap.
Great as always

So many things I want to build but I don't have the space for.
Dude, I know the feeling! I actually have an off camera space in my basement that’s just a pile of these projects when I’m not using them. It’s getting pretty big.
This is amazing. Thank you.
Hey, that’s awesome to hear, thank you!
@@KaizenDIYGym I've been looking for a long time for a decent DIY jammer arms and I always found ones made out of steel which doesn't work for most people. So I am extremely excited about your design which I will be building this weekend. I will make sure to tag you on Instagram. Keep up the great work!
Very good.
Thank you!
Haha these are sick !
Awesome, thank you so much!
Nice job
Thanks so much!
I should totally do this.
When I ultimately finish with a colossal disaster, at least I'll have some cool power tools.
it'll be fun no matter how it turns out and you'll have tools for more disastrous projects!
TY for finding the 1in D bolts so hard to find.
Heck yeah!
Just perfect ! Better than rogue ;)
Aww thanks! Hopefully they’ll be calling to collaborate
wow a great job really.I need just get anywhere the wheels frame 😀 then I will do chest press..
I’d love to see how yours turns out!
Ever thought about building Lever Arms that attach and detach easily using a 5/8" pin and the hitch pins? That way we can put up and take down easily and those of us with cable systems on rack can also use lever arms! I see Gorilla Jammer Arms does this and saw another company that sells adapters to make any jammers do this.
Bro such a sick idea I made your leg press into a combination chest press arms but dual swivel points !!! Bro now I’m back to modifying keep up the good work man
Wow, that is amazing, I’d love to see it
Genial, excellent job and video bro. Compliment and like by Warmachine bodybuilding of garage Gym italy 🇮🇹💪😉👍✌️
Thank you so much Warmachine!
Galaxy brain
Hell yeah!
Thought about making it so I can do calf raises as well with the arms on my shoulders
The more purposes the better!
What I would really want to see is a diy wooden crossover attachment
That would definitely be a challenge! I'll add it to my list
Would you recommend this build over your fly/lateral raise build? This seems more versatile.
I would like to see jammer arms that have the ability to adjust the length of the arms. Maybe you could slide a slightly smaller metal tube inside the main tube. Some exercises work better with longer radius arce.
That’s true! I agree it would be a great feature
tks for the great content man. how does the lateral raise feel? how does it compare to ur lateral raise machine?
I’m glad you enjoy the content. The lateral raise feels great. It is different from the dedicated machine, the movement is angled rather than being up and down, but I like to do them both on shoulder day.
Idk why but all I could think about was the Plumbus commercial on Rick and Morty lol
I’ll have to look that up
👍👍👍👍👍👍
awesome, thanks!
Awesome!!!
Thanks. Do you think is support in half rack too?
Hi, thanks for watching! Yes, it will also work in a half rack. Check out this post to see how it looks instagram.com/s/aGlnaGxpZ2h0OjE3OTIwMzYxOTIzNjU1MzQ5?story_media_id=2675623233054649348&
@@KaizenDIYGym Excellent, Now I have one important mission 😂.
Thanks buddy.
Could you do this same concept with something like the titan t3 short squat stand even though it is not a rack?
It’s definitely possible, you’d need to make a few adjustments. I’d definitely bolt the rack down.
I’m thinking of using trailer hitch attachments instead of casters for increased strength of the setup. Just like shoulder bones.
I’d love to know how that works! Keep me posted
@@KaizenDIYGym you bet!
How about a thigh pad to hold you down while doing lat pulldowns on a functional trainer?
I have heard that request before, I’ll add it to the tally. I’ll definitely do it but it may be a couple months. My list is crazy long!
What's the benefit of those compared to diy functional trainer?
Not sure how well these would hold.up for me. I have a 315 overhead press and a 500lb bench!
Ok cool. Congrats
Curious if you've tested weight capacity of the castors over time?
That’s a great question. I have not tested the weight capacity of the casters but that’s a great video idea!
Hi. PHENOXFITNSS attaches their Jammer Artms to a cross-bar at the top front of the cage. That's how I need to attach mine as my cage has pulleys on each front vertical bar for cable cross-overs. Will the casters work if I mount them on a 2x4 crossbar at the top of my cage? Thanks for your videos. I really appreciate that you included a parts list. I've subscribed to your channel. I have an ER KANG JD-7K5 rack.
Thanks for the sub! I don’t know how well casters hold up to the stress of being used upside down.
how have the castors held up so far?
No issues at all! I’ve been using them regularly and never put more than 45 pounds on them. I posted a short recently showing how to increase the resistance, that’s been great. I’ve also been using them with bands.
1. Is there a way in your mind to be able to switch between fixed arm path and free arm path
2. Isn't the freely rotating arm path on these a lot like using free weights as opposed to a machine?
There should be a way to make these lock into a fixed plane. I’ve been considering it for a while but haven’t had the time to test anything out.
The movement is not quite like free weights but definitely more so than using a machine. I’d say it’s a hybrid.
@@KaizenDIYGym when you figure out the fixed path mod, inquiring minds would love to know!!
I wonder if you found a way to mount them vertically it might be easier to find a mod to fix the caster in place to only spin forward and back - would make it a bit more similar to Phenox Fitness model
When will some Smith Machine DIY in the squat rack?
My next big build is a power rack. A smith would be pretty difficult but I could probably figure it out.
There’s a guy on CZcams with a Etsy page that will fabricate one for you. Richmond custom I think. Steel guide rods, brackets, linear bearings, housing with angle iron, pillow blocks and hooks is all one needs.
How would you apply this if you don't have a power rack? I was searching for a DIY Viking Press but this is kinda the same concept only difference is it's not a fixed bar but Unilateral.
They could be affixed to a wall, maybe with the 2x6’s attached to wall studs. I’d have to mess around with the idea for a bit to figure it out.
@@KaizenDIYGym that is an awesome idea, the usual viking-press is usually table or platform mounted but your idea of a 2x6 wall-mount is much better!
I don't have side holes, Can I attach it to the front by using non-swivel casters instead? It would only operate in a single plane of motion.
You have some options. You could drill holes into the sides. This can be done with a corded or cordless drill and drill bit. If you don’t want to do that, you can use non-swivel casters but that will restrict movement to a single plane of motion. Swivel casters mounted to the front will work for everything but overhead movements.
Pretty easy with pillow blocks at least 5/8 steel rod thru the blocks and the wood. Still use a 2x6 against frame but probably need to push pillow blocks out a few inches for clearance of the 4x4. So use the 2x6 to cut off 2 blocks 2” for the pillow bocks to rest on. Use 3 or 3.5 in construction screws to attach blocks to main 2x6 (3 each side with pilot holes, but watch where you have to bore holes for the pillow bocks. The 5/8 steel bar and pillow blocks can be found on amazon. I’d use an angle grinder to cut bar to proper length. Those are cheap enough. Or Titan has the brackets for ~$100 and you can bore some 5/8 hoes in your rack with a drill and metal step bit.
Any tips of how to modify it if you have front facing holes on 2x2 rack so it mounts on the inside of the racks? Thanks.
Find me on instagram and I’ll show you the modification I’ve seen.
@@KaizenDIYGym will do
Hello kaizen gym. Ive been inspired in my own home gym, by some of your ideas, and thank you for both willingness and contribution. I have a request for a diy project. Theres a workout piece of equipment made for rotational exercises, that are hard to i itate with just handles and a cable machine, since to much force is lost if the arms are stretched like with a cable, and not everyone can afford nor have space to a fitness machine like the torso rotater machine. So a company called pure torque made this piece of equipment called the : puretorque ab trainer. Prrhaps you would find it relevant put it into a diy project. Thanks ✌️
That’s interesting. I’m sure there is a way to DIY it. I’ll add it to my list.
What size casters did you use ,
I posted this video a couple years ago. I don’t remember but I’m pretty sure I added links to all of the materials in the description of the video.
How do I set up my T Bar?
Great question. I’m not sure what your set up looks like so it’s hard to give you that advice.
Would it be better to have the pipe handles go through the would and screw into the flange on the other side?
I don’t know if it would be better but it is an option.
@@KaizenDIYGym The pipe would be captured and the weight supported through the would rather than just relying on the screws not to tear out so it would definitely be better. I guess my question was rhetorical.
Don’t think floor flanges work with threading it backwards. 3/4 floor flange for ~1 in grip uses 3/8 holes. Some 3/8 hex bolts at 4” will be stronger than screws.
I never see a power rack with 1" holes... You did it or bought it?
I bought it. It’s an Ethos power rack from Dick’s Sporting Goods. Before this one I had a Body Solid rack that was 3x3 with 1” holes. I know that REP’s PR5000 line is all 3x3 with 1” as well. Maybe not as common as Westside spacing but it’s out there.
Cant find those floor flanges in Ireland for love nor money
I am sorry, I wish I could help. There's got to be an alternative
3/4 iron pipe has an OD of 1.06” If you metric then there are pipe charts online. Or a metal yard for solid steel rods then bore through the 4x4 and lock in the rod with metal collars with set screws that can be found on amazon.
hello what type of wood is it?
Pine
@@KaizenDIYGym thank you be bless
Please make me some for my force usa G15 👍. Other than paying £899 to have them included in a package... i cant buy them anywhere lol. Issue is, the holes are 16mm and the frame is 50mm. Most if not all i see are for 1 inch holes... so a nightmare to find one for my rack/machine.
I'd suggest getting a hold of Ben at GymPin. If anyone can do it, he can. hello@gym-pin.co.uk
If you sprayed the Jammer Arms black you wouldn't think it's wood!
I thought about that. I’m working on building a power rack and I want these to match.
do you work for sale?
Hi there, right now I am not selling any of this stuff. I’m staying super busy making these tutorials.

I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the czcams.com/users/postUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B

You should patent this. Don’t let the big companies copy this idea. Please
I did. I filed a provisional patent application before posting this video. After releasing this video I contacted a company to see if they’d be interested in making them. I can’t divulge details any further. Good looking out bro!
@@KaizenDIYGym Bro, I'm really excited for you! That's awesome!
