Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

I love how Kozmo’s glider gets the beautiful part of the music when gliding through the rings of fire, it goes perfect with how smooth and gentle the glider works

Oh I had to say that when ever u transform the car pieces come. Idea1-> U make cargo plane and inside it will be the very expensive looking glider needs to look cool and to make it a challenge u can have Kan and kosmo to chase u to steel if u crash u dead u can ram the others only with the cargo plane and the others not aloud to ram the cargo plane and ur glider needs more weapons the the others k. REMEMBER ur goal is to get the highest timing. U have to build the cargo plane and the very expensive looking glider with 1000 or as much u want to put. Kan and kosmo get there thief planes only 2 even u when u become the thief. It has to be a map where it has trees. If ur timer comes at 29:59 u win.

Make the challenge even more interesting with this rule:
"If everyone makes the challenge, the one who came up with it gets a letter."
That way, there's a penalty for making things *too* easy.
Make it also for loosing too if its too hard...

What Ive learned after watch the past couple of multiple challenges. Just simple build something, have very low confidence in it, it proves you wrong, and you get the win. Simple enough
You know what's great? In Europe, we just transitioned from daylight saving time to winter time (At 3 AM on October 25th, one hour is subtracted from the time, so it's 2 AM, then, on March 29th, it goes back. This makes it so that there is more light in the evening during summer when days are longer.) so ScrapMan now uploads at 12 PM instead of 1 PM. :)

Hey ScrapMan i just want to say that i love your videos and keep up the great work, I have two SMS video ideas 1. try getting the things that are in the walls of the loot room in the warehouse to the elevator to see if it changes anything inside, like if you can see connections or if you can remove blocks. 2. try to 100% loot scrapcity to try and get golden garment boxes. =P

Idea: Involution challenge: starting with 15 power cores, doing a course/challegne twice (so you can have a second chance, if the first time you had something slightly broken), then remove 3 power cores, do a challenge once, and repeat.

Do a plane stunt challenge with thrusters always ON, or set the speed you have to keep or you'll explode
Physics went on vacation when Kosmo made his glider.
And now the same but backwards! First Glider then car without damage! (maybe with a 2 second thruster to start the glider.)

Hey Scrapman, you guys should do Armored vehicle challenge, hear me out. Two teams of 2 both teams make two fighter planes and a Armored vehicle with an anti-air gunon it. The Armored vehicle has to get from point A to point B and th e Fighter planes has to try to stop them. Sound like it could be fun.👍🤷🏾♂️

You should do a car to plane to boat race but you must have everything on the new vehicle that the previous vehicle has and nothing wich the previous vehicle didn't have so if you're plane has wings the car also must have them, and if the boat has propellers the car and plane also most them,so no block is added or removed just rearranged.
#1 Scrapman, next MM try to do the realistic motorcycle race with no auto lean function, just like that one creation that you guys featured in SM where it steers by leaning the bike it self. Thanks, I hope you will notice this request.

@Jack West you can't glide without a launch force, because you will be stationary without the force lmao. Even gravity counts as a force. You dont always need forward momentum, but you always need force to start moving, its newton's first law. An object in motion will remain in motion unless acted upon by an external force. An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted upon by an external force
@Overkill Gaming again, gliding doesn't use additional power, but you need energy to move. Im not taking about trailmakers, im talking about physics

I genuinely enjoyed the action of the underwater battles, so I'm thinking if they could do an aircraft and antiaircraft shooter (moveable/boat??) build
The aim is to (WIP) go through all the hoops of a certain area of the map and if they get shot out of the air before they lose, and they win if they complete the hoop course
The competition is always a great thing for me to wake up to, so I find these episodes are amazing and I love what they guys are doing. If you have any edits or recommendations please tell him!

You should do a challenge where everyone has to build a vehicle for air water and land, but each build will have the same exact parts. To clarify if you put a wing on your plane for the air craft, it still needs to be present in some way in the other two crafts

I like the “Horse” format they are doing.
Horse is a game with a ball and a net. One person shoots the ball into the net. If they make it, everyone has to do it and then the someone else does a different spot to shoot from. If someone fails, they get a letter in Horse, so if someone failed once they get H, then O, then R, etc. The word can change, but Horse is the default

Scrapman should do building help tutorials for trailmalers sometimes, I got trailmalers and thought it would be so easy to make something that works and looks good but its almost impossible, and I think multiple people have this issue.
You and kasmo used power cores on your glider AKA planes on the power wings hahahah.
Suggestion for scrap mechanic, Mech warrior challange. You build a mech/walker out of cardboard, add spudguns and battle them.

Do a best offroad car challenge
Challenge idea: Bombers vs AA
Split up into 2 teams. Each person builds a bomber and an anti-aircraft turret. The bombers have dynamite which they can drop, while the turrets can have several small cannons. The turrets must remain stationary, but can aim at the bombers from their position on the ground. Bombers make runs over the turrets and try to destroy them. Whoever is still alive at the end of the round wins.
I wish that you would not use the transform feature. It would be much more interesting if you had to use pistons and servos to physically transform D:
I spent 2 hours making a plane out of things that shouldn't work, but they did. I was in the campaign and didn't have all the parts I needed.
