This Hanse 445 is a practical, modern, and proficient cruising yacht. Wild Hare was built in Germany and went through rigorous standards by one of the top designers in the industry, Judel/Vrolijk & Co. This capable yacht will take you anywhere you want to go as a full crew or just a single couple. The simple and efficient sail plan preforms well in all conditions and is easy to tame when the weather calls for it. The 445 has a large beam of 14’ 4” creating a lavish space for entertaining, and flat decks surrounding the large secure cockpit makes sailing very comfortable. In the cockpit you will find that all sail controls and halyards lead aft to two spinlock clutch organizers so everything can utilize one of the two electric winches just forward of each helm station. The German style main sheeting system allows the helmsman to trim from either side of the boat while under sail and the self-tacking headsail is particularly luxurious for the single-handed sailor. Below decks, the contemporary saloon, three cabin, double head layout is perfect for entertaining and provides enough privacy when the evening is over.
