here in the Uk my Dad took me to school on one of these every day rain , snow or shine , he got it from a neighbour in two tea chests in bits and restored it back to life , amazing machine plenty of bottom end grunt for a two stroke and plenty of power for twos up.
In the UK, we were still receiving imports of the Jawa 250-592 single (a Jawa 250-559 with a 75 Watt dynamo & large square gas tank) between 1970 & 1973). We didn't see the Jawa 250-623 Bizon officially in the UK, tough a few have been imported recently as I've seen them at Jawa CZ motorcycle rallies and at motorcycle shows. I have a 592 engine in my garage at the moment. Kickstarting a 559 or 592 is not for those with weak leg muscles!!
Should try kicking a late 60's sportster......will try to shove your leg up your ass when she back fires. Especially when side kicking. Your way too committed
Fine Machine and I love the look of it, Jawas were well designed machines that were easy to service with little to no skill or tools as well as being durable and dependable.
A rare Jaws indeed, if not the most attractive, the engine looks like the standard 350 that would grace Jawas for many more years to come, as in my sister's 1978 side car outfit, did notice the chain was not fully enclosed, something later bikes would use to bread advantage, cutting down on maintenance and keeping the bike clean, looks to be well restored and the colour set it off well.
JAWA produced models for export to the west other than exports to the poor east. Therefore, these models have never been in any backward state of the Eastern bloc. Only in CZECHOSLOVAKIA and further for export to the USA, WESTERN EUROPE, TURKEY, ETC. They were models JAWA 500 OHC, JAWA 350 BIZON, JAWA 350 CALIFORNIA, JAWA 250 EGYPT, etc. The Soviet Union and other poor and backward states received only inferior JAWA models.
i want an antique motorcycle to ride daily really bad, it doesn't have to be some big v-twin or anything i just want to ride something besides a scooter like the rest of america has become enamored with
I've been into motorcycle for 50+ years, so I'm not bragging when I say there aren't many I've never heard of. This is one of them. Jawas are a well-known brand and they were even distributed in North America, so no problem there, but I had never seen or heard of the Bizon. Well done. Oh, and please keep bringing us more obscure East European models.
The yellow paintjob fits so well onto the design. Just a shame this machines are so rare and only to get with 250 or 350cc. With a small 125cc engine it would perfectly harmonize with my driving licence 😂...

At least a CZ250 looks far better than: Honda CB250T (Super ugly, over weight, gutless & slow compared to the CZ250). Honda CM250 (Super ugly, gutless & slow compared to the CZ250). MZ250 (Any!! Even blind people think they're ugly!!). Suzuki GT250 (Weak 12 Volt 47 watt electrics, poor handling & slower acceleration, by comparison to the CZ250).

From a distance has a look of my old aerial arrow..

Jawa is the king of motorcycles . I love Jawa
King? Are you serious?
@@joepkortekaas8813
Each to their own.. Eh 😁
@@joepkortekaas8813 Harley Davidson is regarded as the king of two wheeled tractors in the UK!!
@@CZ350tuner With that I can fully agree! I've always called Harleys two-wheeled tractors!
especially a Jawa with a Yamaha engine it!!
strange bike and strange exhaust sound too 😮😮😮
Any older and especially unusual (mint cond) bike always looks very cool 👍👍👍

Its one of those kind of bikes thats so weird looking they look cool. Looks like its well built, but could use a better front brake.
beautiful machine
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder- I find it extremely unattractive!
Looks like good quality
But not the brakes
@@petergerritgroen3157 The brakes were fine for their time of manufacture, way better than the brakes on British machinery of the same era.
Had a 250cc jawa cz mx bike. Close to the same color.
Звучить шикарно!
Не знав про таку модель👍👍👍

my 1983 yammy 115cc 2 stroke 70mph moped entered the chat
Looks like my old Honda Benley Sport 125cc twin 1964, Oh the benley was black.

Nice:-)
Is this restored ? The build quality looks good, especially the chrome.
of cos nothing would look so shiny after 51yrs!😺😺😺
Beautiful 💓💓 🇬🇷🇬🇷
Звук класс и вид не плохой с висящим в воздухе двигателем
Vobec to nie je take spatne ako sa to zda, velmi zaujimavy motocykel a kto ho ma na znackach tak velka hodnota
👌😎
How is it possible to see this Java for the first time
✌✌✌👍👍
For the time, no bad, no... normally I like 4 stroke, but Jawa, MZ...like too
Beautifully ugly love it
Ich hatte ne 150er MZ. Die sah so ähnlich aus.
Similar to 1964 Yamaha yds2 but 6 years later and slower.
Nice but should've had a tachometer next to the speedo. Now, show us the "real" Bizon, the big one, the 650!
Sadly that bike is just a parts bin special and not a Jawa
Have seen a lot stranger than this.
Have you ever seen a Romet stella
TO JE JAWA 50 MUSTANG na licenci v PRL.
Almost impossible to adjust the carb
I must have missed it. What is the year of this motorcycle?
Greetings, it's 1970
What is so strange ?
The Ugliest thing on wheels... .
great looking Bizon, all it needs now are cast wheels, a Yamaha rd350 engine and cdi ignition to make it run fast and reliably forever
Don't mean to be contrary but what's so strange about it?
This motorcycle has a completely different frame and front fork than all other Jawa motorcycles.
My 1969 Honda CB 350 (which actually had 325cc) made 37 hp. This piece of 343cc stupidity makes a paltry underwhelming 21hp. WTF was the point?
Kolko ich bolo vyrobených
., moc né. Asi 6000 ks jak model 250 tak i 350 i na vývoz s oilmajstrem -nezávislé přimazávání motoru olejem.

Wow, something even uglier than a CZ250!
The ugliest was MZ Design , 70" - till end of Production , before this time you will call it today as beautifull Vintage, only befor the 70"
