The post instal sound demo is mind blowing 🤯 I’m shocked to hear that just swapping out all the speakers with your sponsor who collabs with Alpine a legendary brand is shocking us all with mind blowing audio upgrade and it comes with everything you need to DIY so 🔥 🔥 🔥
Honestly even form an audio file critic view the system on the LR model Y already sounds very good better than most custom systems.. at most just upgrade the sub
Alpine releases the full set as Tesla oem replacements. The sub has a larger driver 10” and enclosure. It’s true that these speakers are not as efficient but I do notice quite some improvement in the staging and clarity. I’ve an sr+ so no premium audio but my installer managed to get tweeter signal from the front and used a crossover.
As a hifi guy, i dont recommend this upgrade. I did it and will be switching back. Lowers overall volume output. Increases the highs. Not great. The sub might be worth it. Still testing.
MG4 Comfort owner here 👋🏽 Car got only 4 speakers and no amplifier. I just want to upgrade audio system, what’s the most important thing to I should look for?
Funny you should ask, I just listed the speakers on eBay www.ebay.com/itm/235623166490?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=wd61b5SvTMO&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=wd61b5SvTMO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I have these HEPA king upgrades on my Model 3. I have found my subwoofer no longer giving the same punch as is used to. Could it mean the amp is no longer working properly?
@@kevinnguyentv You should have got the Orella Acoustic amps that supply an additional amp for the sub. Takes some stress from the other drivers as well.
Is it louder? And does anyone know's the ohms of the door speakers, dash speakers and tweeters? For example the model S, door speakers are 1 ohm, so if the model Y is 1 ohm as well and you are putting a 4 ohms speaker, you'll need a lot more power to get it loud. I'm just trying to find out what are the stock ohms and sensitivity of all the speakers. I am liking the Focal ISU 200, because the sensitivity is 92 irric, which is very efficient.
@@Myksgarage Thanks, I just want the best clarity and loudness I can get using the factory amplifier because I love the integration of the tesla system. Thanks again. I might give this a shot. I would like to use some raw drivers, If I know the ohms and sensitivity of the stock speakers I can pick drivers with better specs. Thanks again.
There's no way this improves the mids or highs... Tesla really spends a lot of time to fine tune the speakers and giving it different drivers will most probably make it sound off, sub could be worth it tho
You are incorrect; all dual motor and performance models come with the Premium sound upgrade You lose credibility when you state incorrect statements right upfront.

Yeah it's a nice upgrade!

Yes, for sure!
The original sound system is also very good.
Yes indeed!
Has anybody reviewed these things WITHOUT being sponsored by the makers.
🤷
Hi, there are actually few videos that they bought it themselves and review.

Interesting
Do we think the resistance is higher, or 8 ohm vs 4 ohm?
Thanks for that info.

What's an MG4?
Can you “feel” the bass more? Sound is nice but I want my heart to skip a beat
The Bass is better, it's like 20% better
@@Myksgarage that’s actually a big jump thank you!
Wonder what are you doing with your old stock audio system after you swap this new Hepaking Alpine in ? (can i buy it ? tks)

Why do they door speakers sounds so muffled, I installed them and they sound really low.
I don't hear the muffled sound, mine sound very crisp
I want more bass. Will this accomplish that?
Yeah it gives more bass
@@Myksgarage thanks. do the highs cut your eardrums? Or can it be tuned for soft highs?
Does the SR come with a pre-wired subwoofer and amp connection where I can pick up those used items from eBay?
I'm not certain
I just want the sub and the adapter, link?
Do you have the factory sub already?
Has your amp blew out yet? I replace stock sub only with a kicker. It sounded wayyy better but the amp blew out quick
No not yet...

hows the battery life after upgrading speakers?
Seems the same
Subwoofer notas mucha diferencia de oem a alpine?
Yeah the new alpine sub is noticeably stronger
You do realize that when you pay audio it only sounds as good as whatever the playback is like an iPhone
Yes I realize that
You forgot the rear door speaker
Yeah this kit only changes out the front speakers
where can you get a upgrade Amp ?
Not sure

Yeah they are louder and clearer, but it could benefit from a more powerful amp!

I believe the output is less loud. I'm switching back to stock
@@BFArch0n hey you try this espeaker ? How is the sound ?
was looking at buying the light harmonic speakers, now I'm thinking about the alpines.
Yeah these Alpines are awesome!

Would this upgrade work on the Performance Model Y?
Yeah the speakers are the same
Hi, in the anterior door is it possible to install the 8 inch speakers, instead of the one of 6,5 inch ?
Im not sure, if you can, you'd need a custom adapter

If it's included, it's not an upgrade, it's just the standard audio system.
@@Myksgarage It's an upgrade.
