- Welcome to Pisgah National Forest located just outside of beautiful town of Asheville, North Carolina. After exploring Nantahala National Forest yesterday, today the sun is back out and I am here to explore more waterfalls! Starting in Dupont State Recreational Area, I'll be doing a hike to three beautiful waterfalls - Hooker Falls, Triple Falls and High Falls. These are such beautiful hikes that you have to come check it out!
After some time in Dupont State Recreational Area, I'm going to take you to Looking Glass Falls - another beautiful hike. As always, I saved the best for last - Sliding Rock - which was my absolute favorite place during the entire trip! Join me for today's adventures and enjoy the video!

I am so excited to share todayâs adventures from Pisgah National Forest where Iâll be hiking to some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the state!
This looks like an awesome area, thanks for sharing this I hope I get a chance to check it out!
It really was! I am headed out to North Carolina again next month after my trip to Kazakhstan, itâll be really cool to explore more!
@@LukeGeeTravels thatâs awesome! Iâll be headed to Michigan usa next week. Iâm hoping to travel this summer
@@DustinBackpacks and Iâm shooting to make it up to Keenawa Peninsula sometime in August. When youâre back let me know maybe we can make something happen!
The trails and waterfalls in this National Forest speaks to me more than the Smokey National Park. The natural waterslide looked like a good time. I love our national forests. I was in Coconino National Forest in April.
I think if you go outside of the main trails in Smokies it gets better/peaceful! But I totally agree with you, we have so many amazing state parks/national forests in this country, we will never run out of places to explore! What did you do in Coconino??
@@LukeGeeTravels In Coconino, I did Airport Loop Trail, Devilâs Bridge Trail & I visited Chapel of the Holy Cross. In Scottsdale, I did Papago Park, McDowell Sonoran Preserve, and CamelBack Park.
Great choices! I would have also thrown in Cathedral Rock as I had an amazing sunset experience there! But anywhere around Sedona is incredible, so much variety of places to explore
that place looks awesome!
It was! It felt like a playground for adults! North Carolina is just awesome! Iâm going back next month
I loved all the waterfalls! Itâs incredible how nature created something like the sliding rock, it looked like so much fun!
I had so much fun on the sliding rock! This was all after a heavy rainfall the day before so the waterfalls were really flowing!
I am from North Carolina and I absolutely love all of the beautiful landscape that it offers! Also I hope to visit Caesar's Head overlook one day! Great and relaxing video!
I am jealous! I am moving to Denver in a fww months because I love mountains so much, but North Carolina is easily my next choice. Waterfalls, mountains and scenic drives are just endless!
@@LukeGeeTravels yes! It is a nature loverâs paradise! đđ
@@salgadosonthego3773 My goal is to visit the entire Blue Ridge Parkway over the coming years and make a guide of the best places to visit along the entire 470 miles! :)
@@LukeGeeTravels that sounds amazing! Good luck on your journey! Stay safe!
Wow!! Fantastic views. Great video. Thanks for sharing. Sub & đ66
Thank you again for watching!:)
Thanks for the video, exactly what I need to plan a first visit myself. Much appreciated!! Subscribed đ
So glad to hear you enjoyed it! This is a beautiful area and there are a TON of other things to do!
We did the 3 Waterfall Loop and it was great. I just moved to the Charlotte area from California.
Yosemite is my favorite place on earth
Thatâs a great choice! Sooo many waterfalls around the Blue Ridge Road! Iâm actually going to California in February, most likely will be checking out Sequoia but Yosemite is always a great place to check out!
Fabulous scenes once again. The sliding rock!!! Are you going to visit the Biltmore Estate?
I am going to be back out there in a month - hiking around Grandfather Mountain and Linville Gorge. Mainly hikes so I wont be stopping in Asheville. I also learned Biltmore Estate costs around $80 which I think is crazyyy amount
