Pilates Mat Toning For Abs, Butt, & Thighs || 30 minutes - Beginners and Seniors

- Tighten, lengthen and tone in this great slow paced Pilates mat workout! In 30 minutes we will work and shape our abs, thighs and glutes in an effective yet gentle way.
We will spend the whole time on the mat switching positions to working all sides of the body. If you are uncomfortable on your knees, not to worry, we won’t be there long.
As always, please go at your own pace. Start small increasing the size of your movements as you gain flexibility and strength.

I have found your channel recently and I'm your fan since then. I love the pace they have (I'm 73 and have been exercising since my 40's) they are very useful for people my age, when too much movement or too fast or too many repetitions are not what we need (or what we want). Your voice, the soft colours, your place, your smile, all give a sense of peace and quietness that I love. Your exercises are well designed and many of them are new for me. I have been doing your workouts for a few months, and I am so impressed by the sheer variety of moves you include. I keep expecting to see a lot of repeated exercises in your Pilates sessions, for example, and am continually amazed by the way you have us use muscles in novel ways each time. I don't know how you do it, but from my experience at least, this appears to be a rarity in the online workout world and I appreciate it so much. My body feels strengthened and stretched in ways I didn't know were possible, and I no longer get the occasional pain in my IT band that I used to get doing other online classes. I'm so glad I found you. I'm a convert. :) Thank you!!!!

Absolutely loved this session. I had no idea of all the different ways you can stretch. After doing 10 days of various sessions, I suddenly realised today that I felt taller! My posture has improved so much making me realise how bad it was. I am feeling so good. You are truly amazing. I am so grateful!

I love your workouts so much! Thank you. I'm not an exercise kind of person, as I used to work in my garden a lot and would see that as all the workout I needed. This was true. But now I have no garden and I found your workout videos. You are amazing. I am still very much a beginner and look a lot like a flailing fish half the time, but I'm getting better and can see and feel the difference.

I really enjoyed this today. I was sore from doing heavy weights yesterday "Cardio & Strength HIIT" workout. This was a good leg and butt workout, but I felt like there was so much stretching that went along with it. Thank you Lauren! You and Mike spend so much time on your videos and it is very much appreciated.

I started doing different CZcams workouts in Lockdown and enjoyed Pilates. I recently came across your videos and like others have mentioned you provide such a variety, that is refreshing and you always do them with a smile 😊, so thank you Lauren.
I had sciatica a few months ago, so still have a slight weakness in my left thigh, but it’s improving, so I managed almost all those leg lifts, though it was tough at times. 😂 x

Hello Lauren, this is the third video that I have been able to do with my ankle injury and I am, again, so grateful to have found you! I have selected 5 of your Pilates workouts of which 2 are chair pilates and 3 are floor pilates. I can adjust the movements to my situation and, boy, I feel good after I'm finished working out. In the last week, since I have found your videos, my whole body feels so much better and stronger with much fewer aches due to having to walk with a heavy orthopedic boot. I love Pilates on my reformer but won't be able to use it for a while for my lower body, and your workouts are such a great alternative to working on a reformer. Love your soothing voice and love your choice of music! Meditation in movement, that's what it is! 😍🙏

I, too, am so glad that I have found this channel! I ❤ it!! Lauren, you are a great instructor. I have done a variety of your workouts over the past few weeks and am noticing an improvement with my balance. I have really enjoyed the core and lower body workouts, however, I have had a right and left hip replacement over the past two years and some of the exercises I just cannot do. Are there any plans in creating a workout program that targets the lower body but less strenuous on the hip joints?

Your Pilates work is terrific - you explain form really well and the pacing allows for corrective adjustments which is really important for us once-fit, currently in need of lots of work old persons. (The wake up stretch is a thing of beauty.)
