Now I can create one PowerPoint file and use it forever. Thank you for this awesome tutorial.
Amazing! Thanks!
Iâd previously done some VBA to copy charts into my weekly reports, but this is so much neater and easy to update!!
Thanks Kevin for this super useful video! Love the way you simplify and present the topic, keep up the great work! đđ
Thank you for the work is greatly appreciated! I am trying to start using MS Project with Planner and Share point... Knowing how those all interacted between them, will be amazing! Thanks again and keep up the great energy!
I felt this tutorial very useful to update the scores of teams after each round by entering into an excel sheet and linking into the powerpoint of the quiz. thanks a lot.
Thank you for making easier our business lives!
Hi Kevin,
From what I noticed, when the PowerPoint slides are closed and everything needs to be "refreshed" by clicking on edit data, any way to ensure that even the PowerPoint slides are re-opened the data still can auto-update? Else I have to keep my data open for both excel and ppt to ensure the synchronization exists.
Nice Kevin.
Using this, I wonder if the dashboard you showed in previous videos should be stored in a linked ppt instead of a dedicated sheet of the xls where all the data are, simply for the global look of this dashboard you may set up with all powerpoint assets.
You didn't tell us about the xls location: I suppose this file cannot be moved cause you would break the link right?
Does it work while in fullscreen presentation mode? This would allow you to bring another kind of animation of your presentation!
Also, does this work with Word?
You just made my life a little easier. Thanks Kevin!
Glad to see that you are being so active on CZcams
What ever topic I look for, I find the answer in your channel. Thanks a lot.
i needed this and ou made it...looks like you were speaking to my heart..
Wait, what?! Such a easy way?? I never thought this would be possible!! Thanks a lot for the video
Hi Kevin, Thanks for your videos, they are very helpful. I have a question about how to automatically update links to images. I have a presentation with links to images that are on my server and I need them to update automatically when I change the images on the server. I have to update the images one by one. to do this, I go to file/info/edit links to files. There is a box here that can be checked for automatic update, but it won't let me do it. any ideas? Thank you
Hi Kevin, thanks for sharing these tips. Problem with Pasting Link is that the formatting is not that good although data is auto updated once excel data is updated. Problem with second option is that if a ppt has tons of charts then one has to refresh all the charts one by one, which makes it unfeasible. Although the chart looks great if we go for this option.
Kevin this is by far the best channel on CZcams I love all this new stuff! I wouldn't even know to ask for half of it as I didn't know it existed. Thank you and keep the knowledge flowing :-)
Hey Brother, I need help regarding this. I think you have seen some Top 10 type video where graph moves dynamically like 2010, 2011, 2012 what was the data. Is it possible to do same in Powerpoint?
Thanks Kevin. The whole âExcel to PowerPointâ path still feels a bit inelegant to me. What would be really helpful is having a âtemplate linkâ so I could save and retain monthly iterations of Excel and PowerPoint links and keep them independent of one another. I would simply reuse the template to creat another month. Make sense? This has been a thorn in my side for a long time. Creating decks for upper management from our source workbooks takes way too much time. Any thoughts?
Thanks Kevin for this video đ
Amazing video! thanks so much
Tks , Kevin . amazing class .
Thanks, Kevin.... These tips are going to help me a lot.
Thank you!! I was struggling trying to figure this out
Dude, you saved me so much time!!!!!! thanks a lot!

Hi Kevin, thanks for this very useful tutorial!
A question I'd like to ask, let's say I have a very long table to load to ppt and it requires 2-3 sheets for this long table, how to put this long table on those ppt sheets and can this table still connected to one another page on ppt? Thanks!
Hi Kevin, usually I am watching your videos. Today I am very happy because you mentioned my very small Country in this video. Thanks Dear for that.
Great video Kevin!
Thanks Kevin,
I have a problem copying treemap charts from excel to powerpoint, it is copied as a blank chart in ppt and shows nothing, regardless of any pasting mode, is there any suggestions?
Very well explained. Thanks to you pal.

Great video Kevin as usual. You are on you way to 1 million subscribers!!! Go Kevin go!!! You are my #1 virtual PROFESSOR @ CZcams University regarding expanding my productivity skills with software. Cheers, Mario from Costa Rica.
Kevin this is great, i have created this but used 25 data sets with field manager names on slicers so the data changes on the powerpoint from a slicer. Is there a way that i can make muitple people access and make changes to access them self
THis is excellent Kevin, thank you.
Issue I am having is that after the first day, the sync between is broken and I have to refresh data from PP each time. However, when I have the Excel file open, PP throws an error and will only allow me to refresh when the Excel file is closed. Is this expected functionality?
Hello, Thank you for the video. Its very helpful. I have one question. If I email the powerpoint as an attachment, do I have to include the excel or will powerpoint remember the last time data was updated?
This is awesome!
Hey Kevin
Have a question. It worked great for files on desktop but did not for files on sharepoint / onedrive. Any pointers? Thanks

I know this is off topic. But i have a workbook that was created on Excel 97 and I need to make it work with todays Excel. I'm not having any success making compatible. I am trying to build another one but I am have trouble doing this as well. It has a data sheet where we keep up with names and errors. A second sheet that has a graph and a pivot table. And a third sheet that has a yearly population of the data. There are three buttons on the first page that has sort by name, count by, and remove count. Any help would be appreciated.
thank you. it's best video đđ
Kevin what if I had created a text box within the graph which shows the sum of values.. these remain still and doesn't change according to the change in excel values. Can you please suggest a fix for that đ„ș Many thanks! You rock!đ€
Amazing, thanks for sharing. Do you know how to link 7 days of weather forest from a certain website?
No way! I always struggle to create tables and this feature is awesome. You are correct. This saves a lot of time. Can we also link an excel table to word, cause that would be awesome.
Thank You for the tutorial, but could you tell us how about we update the data, maybe we put another country on the table, is in the presentation will automatically updates? thank you
Worthy info
Hi Kevin
Thank you for all you Videos, really helpful.
I love Pivot Charts because I could use different filters.
Can I place Pivot Charts in PPt and use the filters?
Amazing!
Genius!
Excellent presentation; very useful information. Please post more such useful videos.
Your videos rock!

I wanna link my Teeth and Kevin's Cookies. They are so tasty! Well, this is so similar to my reaction to having one of your cookies. It's gonna get in before you can think. "But wait, the magic is about to happen", got so curious...If there's something I want to learn from you it's everything. But then your storytelling is the next level. All excel videos I see are *boring* you make it so interesting. I'm loving this Kevin! More CZcams videos? Yaaay! Let's do this!!!

Hello, this video was very helpful. However, I only have three paste options. I'm missing both of the link options. Is there another way to link it? I have MS 2016, please advise. ThanksS
I followed your instructions for inserting data from Excel into Powerpoint and it works as expected UNTIL I actually present the Powerpoint. Once in presenter mode, changing the Excel data dies nothing in Powerpoint. Help please.
