What a stunning route
20,000 miles with more to come. Tom, I love your insight into 'just do it now' because you do never know when we will not be able to do these type of bicycle adventures. Cheers to you Debs and Tom.
That’s got to be one of my favourite episodes - the scenery was truly amazing. I can see why you wanted to cycle it. Well done to you both…and stay safe!
Amazing views, wow...
Just stumbled across your vid, enjoyed very much. I will definitely watch more

Wow, wow, wow such an amazing ride. Yeah no one will understand what draws us cyclists/cycle tourists to these epic types of climbs. There is something about them and the torture we endure to cycle them but man o man it feels so good to do it. If it were easy then everyone would be doing it. So we too started June 2021 in Deadhorse, Alaska with the plans on cycling all the way to Ushuaia, but as we got close to Panama we decided to fly to Germany and visit with family. Since we took everything with us, we cycled from Germany to Turkey and did about 900 miles in Turkey before cycling back to Germany. After this we had planned on returning to either Panama or flying directly to Colombia. However as life happens we learned that our daughter and son-in-law were having their first baby, so we came back to Florida to help them. Figured we would stay for 3 or 4 months, but it's now been just over a year. Fingers crossed we get back on the road to finish our ride to Ushuaia here in the very near future. Take care and happy cycling! ~Ron & Petra
What a wild ride you two are having! Be careful out there! Love the updates. Did the road with the tunnels used to be a railroad?
Great vids mate! Wondering what you use for a camera currently?
