Cheers Tom and Deb and thank you for sharing this with us. Glad to see Tom was up and moving at the end there. As you both already know, getting sick on the road happens and it can suck pretty bad at times, but you do have each other. We have some friends doing solo bike tours and when they get sick, thank goodness the good people in the places they are staying help them out. The man pushing you both in the beginning is so classic and cool to see. Colombia sure does look amazing and it looks like they have switchbacks for the climbs unlike Guatemala. ;-) Anyway looking forward to catching up with your adventures.
